WOYWW 164: The quiltlet edition

As promised, I am showing the quiltlet I made for the winner of my blogoversary last week. The package is now on its way to Kathleen, so I'm waiting to hear when she receives it. If you were here last week, you remember I also promised to keep this post short.


This view provides possibly better color. You can see how large it is, since it covers my 12 inch X 16 inch guillotine cutter. I couldn't scan it because I used a real rosebud, picked from my garden and sealed using gel medium. I kept the colors as neutral as possible, using pale pink, beige, pink-beige, and white. Included with the fabric is lace, a tea bag, walnut ink dyed cheesecloth, sheet music, a pink rose sticker, angel wallpaper, and of course, the rose.
