The "I'm so happy to be back" Tea

It's been two dark Tea Tuesday weeks around here. I'm so, so, so happy to be back. And it didn't cost me an arm and a leg, or even a new computer. In fact, it cost no more than a new monitor cable. That video card on the table was an external video card that quit working way back about December 16th or so. It seems that although the external video card quit working, the one on the motherboard was in perfect shape. However, at the time, I had no idea that was the problem and neither did my computer guru friend, Scott. Thankfully, I had already prepped a few posts with photos and all I had to do was add my comments (at Scott's house) and hit "publish." Today, however, I am "live" and you caught me with a bag of Twinings English Breakfast Tea and a cup of steaming hot water.

It won't be long now and the tea will be ready, the tea bag can be saved (dried) for art, and the jacket can be used as a tag holder in an altered book. Now how cool is that? Of course, the spent tea leaves will go in my compost pile, even though they don't take up much room. It seems I always get so much fodder, as well as enjoyment, from tea bags! Of course, I'll be thinking of ways to use that dead video card in an assemblage, too!

Tea Tuesday at Kimmie's is the perfect excuse for drinking tea. Of course, I'm just thrilled to be back online and able to visit my Tea Tuesday friends, as well as those of you who just stop by to visit. I love each and every one of you!

i am so glad you're back. i really missed you. thanks for stopping by, it's been a while.

btw: i googled Joseph Peck and mostly found info on a Joseph Peck who's website offered to send me a 'daily blessing'.

then i added the word "panhead" to my search and i found your friend, the musician. very kool.

what a relief to find the solution AND not have to spend an arm and a leg! we are so happy to have you back too! believe me - we all felt your pain!!

I love how you plan to use every bit of your tea - and I'm sure that if you don't happen to sip it all today, it may just get some lace, paper or fabric dipped into it tomorrow (wink)

have a beautiful day and a very connected week!

It's soooo good to have a computer guru! My Son is mine or my 16yr old Grandson, he knows almost as much as his Dad :)
When I saw that piece sitting there, I thought hmmmm :) should be fun to incorporate that! In the winter, I dump the contents of the tea bags into the plant pots.
Have a happy T day!

And I am thrilled for you! I can't hardly live without my computer, so I can feel your frustration. Good thing it was a small fix!
