Today I am having Brisbane Breakfast flavored black Tea which came all the way from Australia from Gayle at Bliss and Gesso. Unfortunately, Gayle is on vacation this week, so she won't be joining us for tea.
A few weeks ago (yes, I NEVER forget a comment, Julia) I was asked about drinking my tea with milk/cream. Since I'm such a big fan of 1/2 and 1/2 for my coffee, I decided to use it in my tea today,
which I'm enjoying at my kitchen table this dark and early Tuesday morning. I'm especially for of this new tea infuser, which I found recently. It's a spoon and infuser all in one. Please enlarge for a better view. Please join my tea drinking blogging friends by visiting Kimmie today. Kimmie keeps the links and I promise that these gals will keep you entertained all day.
Your tea looks delicious- and such a pretty table setting!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, that tornado and it's destruction was truly heartbreaking....there really are no words. I hope your friends are ok.

ReplyDeleteIt is certainly painful to read about these natural calamities happening..I pray for your friends....Gayle is so wonderful to have sent you this tea...have a good one and take care..
ReplyDeleteMany prayers are being said for all of the tornado and 'weather' victims. It's been a brutal spring. Mother Nature has NOT been kind.
ReplyDeleteYour tea is lovely this morning, Elizabeth. Whenever I see "blue", I think of my darling Grandmother. It was her favorite color, and she'd have coveted your placemat!!! Happy Tuesday! Hugs, Terri xoxo

I just heard about the damage in Joplin today and they are saying more bad weather is expected. It sure is a crazy year weatherwise. Your items today would fit in nicely with my blue and white kitchen. Hope you are having a good day. Tammy
ReplyDeleteWe are in disbelief as we watch the news .... And I thought of you and hope you will be ok in the coming weeks. The bad weather is plaguing the entire midsection of the country!
ReplyDeleteYour tea looks delicious, especially if you have half and half in it .... Yum!
Stay safe, kimmie
Thanks for visiting my blog. I, too, am just heartsick at the destruction in Joplin. Quite a number of years ago, a tornado hit Limon, Colorado and destroyed my sister-in-law's house. It was heart wrenching to see the destruction and my heart goes out to everyone.
ReplyDeleteHi Elizabeth.. I've come with my latte & biscuit to catch up with your blogging..sorry, it's been a while.. Thanks for your kind wishes they are very much appreciated.. I'm waiting for blood test results to see why I have so much pain..

I'm back!! Your tea setting looks lovely, first thing I did when I got home was put the kettle on and make tea!! It's never quite the same when you are away...
ReplyDeleteWe toured the Katrina area of New Orleans while we were there and it was horrific... my thoughts are with the people of Joplin.
Love your blue! I, too, am greatly saddened by the heartache and loss left in the paths of the tornadoes around our country of late. My thoughts and prayers are with all those who have suffered loss. Happy tea day. oxo
ReplyDeleteNothing like tea that traveled from far away!
ReplyDeleteSo sad for the people in Joplin. And this is EARLY in the tornado season! We are on the alert ourselves (4 hours north of Joplin)
