Tea Tuesday and a little help from some "friends"

Since I'm not a pill taker, these seem a bit strange to me. However, I'm really trying to get better, so, along with broth, hot coffee, and tea,

here is what I'm taking. Two ibuprofen once a day for the throat, and four teaspoons of cough suppressant over a 24 hour period, and I'm good.

As the sun begins to rise, I can tell it's going to be a perfect day in blogland. I sure hope it is for you! Please stop by Kimmie's today because she is the lady with the links. In fact, her's is the only place I know for certain I'll be this week. Everything else is conditional on my continued health.

  15. Aww no your sick!!!! You should try my age old family recipe, steaming hot water, fresh squeezed lemon, spoon full of local honey why local I don't know something to do with pollen in the area aids against hay fever also, and if you drink it a drop of whiskey. Takes the pain off the throat and knocks you out and the lemon is a natural antiseptic. Hope you feel better soon!

  21. I'm sorry you are sick. That's never fun. My dear husband has respiratory woes from breathing all the pollen in our air. I've been making mullein tea to help him get through it. We can tell the difference...I hope you feel better quickly. ((((Elizabeth)))

    Happy tday.

  27. Sorry! Elisabeth, that you are on sick list - I am just coming off it so hope you eill soon yes what would we do without those magic potions they push across the counter at us at each visit to eh chemist.. quite simply I would have been dead many, many years ago probably in my teens as that was when I was first diagnosed!! However for the last three weeks very glad of antibiotics and pain killers to get me back on deck even if it took three times longer than I thought it in all decency should,
I'd better go, and may God bless you quickly along that path to wellness SOOOON,
Shaz in Oz.xx (and happy WOYWW! - whether we see your workdesk or no!)x
