Welcome spring

It's official. Spring is here.

Flowers are blooming.

Greenery is popping up, in anticipation of warm and sunny days ahead.

Buds are appearing on the trees.

Bleubeard is sunning himself.

My garden is looking pretty bad from winter ravages. A warm sunny day means it's time to clean it just in time for planting.

Seeds are getting planted in holes created by PC pipe.

Lettuce, sugar snap, and snow peas are planted.

And now it is snowing! Welcome spring!

Today's blog goes to Patsy at HeARTworks. Pat nominated me for a blog award, and quite truthfully, I don't remember visiting her blog before, although she was part of OWOH, so I know I did. I probably should not admit this, since she has been so kind to me, but sometimes it takes hitting me over the head to get me out of my routine. Patsy's all about mixed media, jewelry, and handmade gifts. She still works in her family owned gift store in the Philippines. So please visit Patsy's HeARTworks today.

Isn't Spring just the BEST! I love wandering the garden, even when it's not quite up to where it will be in couple of months, looking for sprouts of plants coming up. It's my favorite time of year!

Your beautiful cat has got the right idea! I tried to take in a little sun yesterday too while weeding and more weeding. So wonderful to see signs of spring in your yard as well.

So wonderful to see signs of spring. We have had the most beautiful weather the last couple of weeks, back to rain and much cooler temps today, but I am grateful for the great weather we have been showered with.
