"dangerous stuff"... well, at this Point i decided i will concentrate my experiments on other stuff;)

elizabeth, i just tried the Google translator on my german post. it is horrible!! maybe i just used a too casual conversation tone... i think next time i will a short english summary:)
have a nice Weekend! johannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15236665096059653348noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14359045.post-24949080193865756152017-02-03T04:06:07.519-06:002017-02-03T04:06:07.519-06:00Wow, that was very interesting. I believe the National Geographic is the very best, if not the only, magazine for this technique. How fascinating to read how the pages are made, and in fact I use a clay-coated plain paper to print my cards, and have found it gives the best results.
Thanks very much for your message (comment) on my blog on Tuesday. I don't think it is for me as we have nowhere outside here - only the balcony and we like to open the doors on sunny days even in Winter.
I suppose there is the decking at the caravan but we would have to be careful of the birds as well as having a few rain free days! Still, it was a wonderful technique to show! I've done transfers with matte medium and cheap printer paper and citrosol, but never with turpentine and its interesting to see how the whole technique. This is a good reshow. I like seeing how things don't work too, strange as that may sound, because when you are learning something new and make mistakes, you really learn how to do it correctly. But you gave such great hints what to do, when I try this, I have some tips not to repeat this things. Does this make sense? I'm tired this morning so not sure what I m saying makes sense. Hope all is well this new month. I can remember that at this time the citrasolve with the national geographic magazine together got popular and we in Austria / Germany - as we got no citrasolve here- used to take Nevr-Dull Wadding Polish or nailpolish remover to make rubbings over different magazine pages to use them as backgrounds for our cards - that was really fun and we enjoyed it !
I have got some "under wonder" meanwhile "Vlieseline" and have now to try out what I want to make..we will see!
You are always an inspiration for me Elizabeth, if I have a problem with the under wonder I will go and ask you - Mrs. Mixed Media Queen of techniques!

Happy Second on the 2nd Elizabeth!
oxo Susifroebelsternchenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06501600240752195171noreply@blogger.com
