T Stands For Gifts Galore

Last week at T time, I shared some cards and gifts I received.  I left this for last, though.

Did any of you guess what RO! sent me?

She knows me SO well.

Perfect for T time, it's a beautiful rocking horse teapot.

Created with love,

and attention to detail,

I got a bit carried away

showing this beauty

both up close,

and in its new spot on my side board.  Thank you more than you will ever know, dear RO!  You always come up with the absolute perfect gifts (and it's because you pay attention to what people write on their blogs).  Thank you again, dear friend.

Fast forward to this week, where we'll be sharing a drink and celebrating a special birthday.

The tiny serape is to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, a celebration held every year on May 5 to commemorate the Mexican Army's victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla.

The irony is, the birthday girl is the one who gifted ME with something this week.  I got tired of trying to use the smudge tool.  It took too long, and I wanted to show how the post office wrote the postage had been verified, but not cancelled.  Yes, the gift is from no other than my friend Halle, whose birthday is on Cinco de Mayo.

Look at all the incredible gifts she sent.  All useful and very much needed and appreciated.

Halle proves she's a real seamstress, not someone who plays at sewing (like myself).  Look at that gorgeous lanyard.  Check out the yellow pear tomato seeds, too.

After I told Halle what a mess I made trying to make my own mask, look what she sent me.

I assure you it will last through this winter, too.  And look at the lip balm I can carry on my key ring, too.

Finally, you have to appreciate Halle's unique and brilliant cards, including the one she made for me.  Scraps, sewing, glitter, embossing, and tiny embellishments grace this gorgeous kraft card stock.  Thank you beyond belief, Halle.  Please don't forget to wish Halle a very happy birthday, too.

Now I've shown you mine, please show me yours.  By now you probably know the "rules," but in case you don't, please show something drink related. It can be photos, a place you visited, movies, tea cups, coffee mugs, a tea or coffee service, postcards, books, magazine images, sketches, mixed media, drawings, paintings, tags, ATCs, scrapbooking, or other art that is digital, hybrid, or traditional, as long as it in some way relates back to a drink, any drink.  Please share below and Bleubeard and I, along with the rest of the T gang will be by to visit.   Please link only your T post and not your blog in general.  Old photos are acceptable because they may be taken any time, not just on Tuesday, and not just this year.

A big, bg WOW to all the thoughtful gifts!
Don´t you love it when gifts are beauti- AND useful?
But I hope come winter we don´t need no masks no more, these things "kill" me. My glasses get foggy with every breath.
I live behind a rock here, I´ve never learned of Cinco de Mayo...

Nice gifts, I´m happy for you :-)

Oh my , your gifts look amazing. The teapot rocking horse is awesome, I think it will be treasured with your other rockers and may never be used to brew tea. I have to admit some of my pots never get used.
All your gifts look so well thought about and those masks will be so useful, they haven't yet decided if we should be wearing them in the UK.
Have a happy T day.
Stay safe and well.

Hi Elizabeth, how lucky you are to receive such a lovely gift, a rocking horse Teapot! It's gorgeous too. If you're like me it won't be used in case it gets broken!
I like the Face Masks, Steve has been given two free ones from the Pharmacy but I went to collect mine today and they have run out, she tried to sell some but I told her I will wait.

Happy T Day, Jan x

Wow! That is a very special tea pot. A rocking horse that you so love. A real conversation piece at our T-Party too.
It looks very nice on your side board.
And then Halle's goodies! all those lovely home made things. The beautiful masks and card and seeds too. I love all those sewn items. Like you, I am not very good at sewing. I can just about operate the sewing machine in a straight line and that is about it.
You must be so chuffed!
Happy T-Day,
Lisca

Halle is super talented and so kind. I love the work she created, and glad you received such a cool mask. I wish like heck that I could sew, but I just don't have the skill or talent at all. Glad that our friend the Horse Teapot has a new home to hang out in. Hope you are able to get out and about soon, and please stay safe and more safe. Sending some socially distanced hugs your way!
