This IS a T Tuesday post

Some of you have been here for several days when I showed posts originally slated for T Tuesday when my foodie friend Sally and I went out to eat during months of October, November, and December.

I have two very long posts and one short post, so I am opting for the short post, since my freezer has quit freezing.  That means tomorrow (Tuesday) I will be out looking for a new refrigerator/freezer.  That means if you post after about 2 a.m. my time, I won't get to you until tomorrow evening.  Even if I get a new fridge tomorrow, I still have to unload my old one and decide what food and condiments I can salvage and what must go.

I found an old photo of China Inn

and its huge menu.  First up are the drinks because it is Tuesday T.

This is the largest menu I have ever seen,

even though it's obvious I didn't take photos of every page.

Even though we vowed on this occasion to look over the entire menu, which we did,

we once again chose the No. 2 combination plate.

Nothing ever looks better.

These two photos were taken Saturday, December 29.  Sally wanted to return the next day too, but when we went on the 30th, we learned the restaurant was closed, so had to wait till the 31st to return.  BTW, we had this same meal on the 31st, too, so I didn't take a single photo on the 31st.

Now it's your turn to share a drink related post.  In case you don't know the rules, please link any post below that involves some form of drink.   That drink could be made from art, sketched, digital, hybrid, or traditional.  It can be a time when you were out and about, or a drink you had at home.  It could be in the form of a book you read, a postcard you received, a scrapbook page you created, a movie you watched, or a painting you found.   It doesn't matter as long as you can, in some way, tie it back to a drink.  After linking your post below (direct links only, please), Bleubeard, the T gang, and I will be by to visit and enjoy whatever you choose to share.  And remember, as Bleubeard would say, your photos may be taken any time, not just on Tuesday, and obviously not even this year!

If you are here Monday, Feb 11, please don't forget to click on the free kibble on my right sidebar.  Today the site is giving double kibble to both cats and dogs.  You can donate a scoop of free litter, too.

Hope your search for a new freezer will go well and you can save some of the food from your old one.
The restaurant menu was huge, but I really liked the look of the meal you ordered, it looks delicious. Its a sign you enjoyed the meal when you returned so quickly to the same venue.
Happy T day wishes Elizabeth.

That food looks delicious! Funny how when you find something you like you go back to it. I don't mean you personally, I mean it people in general. I do the same thing, and right now some Chinese food sure would be yummy. And there must be a freezer dying bug going around because between mine, my sister-in-laws and now yours, that is 3 I have heard of in a short period of time. Good luck shopping. I hope you find a good deal. Happy T day. Hugs-Erika

Oh, that looks so good. My favorites are sweet and sour chicken, chicken and cashews, and broccoli beef. Hmm, didn't see a soft drink menu. Wondered if they had Bubble Tea, but the Amaretto Tea sounds really good, too, but more like a dessert. Hope you find a fridge/freezer and you didn't lose too much food.If you don't open your freezer, food should keep for 48 hrs. Good luck and Happy T Day

That menu! The Chinese restaurant closest to me closed, and I miss it. Your food looks delicious!

Good luck on your refrigerator/freezer hunt!

Oh what a disaster! I bought my fridge/freezer online. That is easiest, and to have next day delivery is the most convenient . I hope your shopping trip is successful.
I love Chinese food. Over here we have enormous menus too. I wonder why they do that. They then make a combination menu of the most popular items and then people just order that. No need to waste any more paper on endless dishes...
Your meal looked absolutely delicious! I love what you chose and wish I could have joined you...
Happy T Day and good luck with the freezer,
Lisca

Sorry to hear about your freezer failure, Elizabeth. That's the pits! I hope you can salvage most of the food.

We love Chinese food too ... and usually end up ordering the same thing every time - just like you and Sally - lol.

Happy T-day! Eileen xx

What a bummer. It is very inconvenient when the refrigerator or freezer decides to die. Thankfully it is cold outside so perhaps nature can be your freezer until you find one suitable.
I love Chinese food! That is quite a long menu. The longest menu I have ever see is from the Cheesecake Factory. Your meal looks delicious and is full of food. Yum!
Happy Tea Day,
Kate

Oh no! My fridge and freezer are always so full and it is very old so I am so afraid of the same thing happening to me. Good luck finding and getting a new one quickly.
Love Chinese food and what a great menu! I just had to get a better look at the "woo woo" drink:):) Just the name intrigued me! Feeling that i will be having some Chines dinner myself very soon...

You both really enjoyed the food as you returned to the restaurant. My favourite Chinese food is Sweet and Sour chicken.
What a pity your fridge broke down, good luck in finding a suitable one Elizabeth.

It's always so neat to see what new restaurants you guys check out along with the menu and food choices. Because there's no evidence of a cheeseburger in sight,(lol) I rarely visit Chinese restaurants, but I have on occasion eaten beef fried rice or crab rangoon. I saw a show on Netflix that says the Chinese restaurants here are strikingly different from those in China, and that it took some time to get used to the significant taste difference. I'm so sorry about your fridge, and know that has to be a huge pain to deal with! I hope you were able to find the perfect one, and that the switch out won't take too long. Sending some hugs your way. p.s. - did you hear about the Cleveland Browns latest signing - Mr. Kareem Hunt?
