T Stands For Bagatelle Bakery

My foodie friend Sally and I were out and about one Sunday and stopped in to eat at Bagatelle.

Sally remembered it, but thought all they sold was bread and other baked goods.

It's true, they DO sell pastries and bread, but on Sunday

they also serve a brunch/lunch special.

Their sandwiches come with either soup or salad, too.

Don't you just adore the rolling pins that hold the menu items.

I thought their drinks were quite reasonable, but I opted for water with lemon, anyway.

They prepared Sally's and my meal.  Sally ordered the baked tilapia over rice, while I ordered the spinach and mushroom quiche.

Sally got a salad and I ordered potatoes rather than soup or salad.  I'm waiting until she returns to fill my cup with water and pick up my utensils.  We also got unlimited bread, but I had already put my camera away when I discovered it came free with our meal.

As we were leaving, I saw this sign on the side of the bakery.  I can assure you, I will be back because I liked the prices and I loved the food!

By now, I suspect you know the drill.  It's time to share your drink related post this week.  It can be photos, a place you visited, movies, postcards, books, sketches, mixed media, drawings, paintings, tags, scrapbooking, or other art that is digital, hybrid, or traditional, as long as it in some way relates back to a drink, any drink.  Regardless, please share below and Bleubeard and I, along with the rest of the T gang will be by to visit.   Please link only your T post and not your blog in general.  Old photos are acceptable because they may be taken any time, not just on Tuesday.

Good food at good prices, that sounds great. It's time for bed here, but I feel hungry after seeing the pictures - but it's too late to be eating again! Happy T Day, Valerie

The bakery looks very welcoming and it looks a delicious, tasty meal you ordered. A real find that it serves meals on Sundays as well as those cakes, which really got my attention.
I think meals seem generally, more affordable in the USA than in the UK
so this must have been a real find, when you say you hope to return again.
Happy T day wishes.

good food + good price = success! I would love your quiche dish:) And of course, the price is right- things seem to be much more expensive in NE area of US.... thanks for sharing a wonderful place along with the good food and drink. Happy T day!

Happy T day Elizabeth. I agree-I do love those rolling pins holding up the signs, and I love the look of your lunch too. I have been craving quiche for awhile now so it was a good choice in my opinion-for whatever that matters. I think you found a good place for Sunday brunch. Thanks for sharing. Hugs-Erika

If I hadn't been such a piggy at dinner, my tummy would be grumbling for those tasty treats.
Happy Tday!

Elizabeth, these pastries and breads look delicious! I used to love eating these things before I had to change my diet for health reasons. Bread used to be my weakness. How yummy that the bread was unlimited. Your meal sounds and looks delicious. It is so fun to find a place that you want to return too.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate

Wow - really delicious meal offered at a very good price! You should definitely visit them more often! Happy T-Day dear Elizabeth! Thank you for hosting TSFT for us always so well!
I had to take fish as we were eating out past Sunday with the family as they offered nothing without meat. Just soup or fried potatoes would have been vegatrian ... not the best area for vegetarians or even vegans. You would nearly starve here in this region at restaurants as a vegan. Vienna is better as there are more variety of restaurants!
Lots of LOVE

Now that looks like a really nice place! The cakes and pastries look heavenly! But you did good in ordering a quiche as that looks yummy too.
The decor is delightful. I think its very good value for money especially as you get free bread (freshly baked I assume).
Thanks for sharing that and I already look forward to your return visit.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca

Sorry it just dawned on me I hadn't commented yet. I have been busy with paper work this week too.
Your food looks so delicious-you find the neatest restaurants. I can't get tempted by the bakery cause I can't eat it lol a good thing since I am stillw working on losing some weight.
Thanks so much for hosting I really enjoy visiting everyone.

Elizabeth i adore an old fashioned bakery like that.. with big glass cases... in my opinion they are becoming harder and harder to find. The food looks incredible and the prices too.. Storms and rain are moving into our area for the evening it looks like so i may find it difficult to get around to everyone as we are on satellite service and if the clouds get thick enough it will boot me off.. But i will be around to everyone sporadically throughout the week if that happens.. Hugs! deb
