365 Art Day Challenge: Week 31

Here are my collages for Week 31.  This 365 something project was created in part and hosted by Hanna at i Hanna.

In case you missed them, here are Week 30's cards.  As I'm sure you know by now, I post every Monday morning for the previous week.  All my collages are 4" X 4" (10,16 cm X 10,16 cm).

Thank you so much for spending time with me today.  If you are playing in Hanna's 365 Something project, please let me know and I will be by to see what you are making.  Please let me know if you like any of these.  As always, I am extremely grateful for your continued support of this project and my art.

You may have noticed by now that Bleubeard and I are hosting Art Journal Journey this month.  My theme is count your blessings.

One thing I am blessed with is nature.  You'll find it often in my art and today is no exception.

Is it redundant to ask the question?

I did a bit of stamping on this page I painted using several washes.

When I tried to color correct the same image from above, this is what I got.  Beautiful, but not realistic.

I tried to add some "flowers" similar to the ones surrounding

this adorable little bear.

For this page, I began by using various washes on the background.  Next I stamped the lines using a background stamp. Then I added the image I cut from a card.  Finally, I used greens and yellow paints to create some flowers to surround the bear.

Bleubeard and I are honored you joined us today and hope to see you at Art Journal Journey, where my theme is Count your blessings

Beautiful collages, my fave today is 'yes'. The little bear page is sweet, too. We don't have bears here except for in some special parks and zoos. Valerie

Nope, in my case the bear went in the road, which of course thrilled the dogs to death, but certainly didn't thrill me. :) True story from last week. My buddy Mr. Black Bear has been around a bit this summer, even though I have taken in the bird feeder. I refuse to take in the hummingbird feeder though and I think he likes a little sweet dessert on occasion. Luckily he is not a destructive bear and will leave once you knock on the window-although he is totally unphased by 2 barking dogs. Loving both your AJJ page with the bear and all your 4x4 art. I especially like the animal kingdom piece. I am with you about nature. It constantly thrills me which is a blessing. Happy new week. Hugs-Erika

Nice job on your 365 Somethings again Elizabeth! I particularly liked My Name is Parsha, and Chart Your Course. As always, I enjoyed your clever titles, and I thought S(w)ing with me would make a great doodle. Your bear page made me smile. I love the cute little bear and the way you handled the flowers - I think it’s a lovely page. I am now waiting for the sequel “Is the Pope”. LOL

I love these, Elizabeth. And the verbiage on the one card:'Forget him that's what most Americans do. No one seems to want these children.' Unfortunately, this is so relevant today.

I love your collage cards this week, the Animal Kingdom and Swing with me were my favourites this time.
The bear looks so sweet, but maybe we shouldn't get close to one in real life. I love the fantastic page and the wonderful background with the pretty flowers.
