T Stands For Independence T

Before we begin today please be aware our 5th Anniversary is July 17.

Please join me on my back patio.  I'm making a list of items I will make for Independence Day.

I'll light the chiminea, fix a few veggie packets, and serve sun tea.  I hope you'll join me, even if it's not your holiday.

I'm sure you know by now it's time for you to share your drink related post this week.  It can be photos, a place you visited, movies, postcards, books, sketches, mixed media, drawings, paintings, tags, scrapbooking, or other art that is digital, hybrid, or traditional, as long as it in some way relates back to a drink, any drink.  Regardless, please share below and Bleubeard and I, along with the rest of the T gang will be by to visit.   Please link only your T post and not your blog in general.  Old photos are acceptable because they may be taken at any time.

Looks good. It's not a day we celebrate here, but we have enough feast days anyway, just different ones. Have fun, Valerie

Hi E!! Thanks for dropping into the blog yesterday, yes it was very sad to lose Tom-Tom, he had a reaction to his yearly vaccinations (a bitter consequence of doing something I thought was for his benefit) and his system crashed. We did get him to rally for about a week but he crashed again. It would have been cruel to keep stressing him out but I kept hoping he would pull through. Pandy is getting used to being an only child, she spends a lot of time with me and seems to be adapting well.
I am trying to get my mojo back, have actually been creating things this last week and enjoying it! Yay! Hopefully it will last and I can get my act together.

It looks like you are well organised for the Celebration day, the cups look really good for your drinks on the day. I hope you have a good time and those veggie packets sound quite delicious.
Happy T day wishes Elizabeth.

The 4th of July is the birthday of one of our grandchildren, so it is a date we won't easily forget. Even though we don't celebrate Independence Day.
Looking forward to hear and see what your celebrations were like.
Happy T-Day and Happy Independence Day,
Lisca

Love how our patriotic colors and celebrations make it festive and at the same time reminds us of all the sacrifices from the very beginning. Love your candles and patriotic display! Hope it won't be too hot - like it is here. Enjoy, and happy T day!

To answer your question for me about using a sea sponge rather than the foil ball on the gel plate... I have used the sponge also but the effect isn't quite the same:)

Wow! 5 Years is pretty impressive, and so is what you did with those tealight candles. I've never seen that done anywhere else and love it! I can look out my back door and experience the fireworks with a cheeseburger and lemonade, which I'm looking forward to. The fun lasts about 10-15 minutes. (lol) Hugs...RO

OMGosh, Elizabeth, I can't believe I almost forgot our hostess. I made the T-party rounds, then checked back twice for newcomers. I'm so glad I realized my slight before it was too late.

It looks like you're all set for Independence Day. Happy 4th of July!

Happy T-day, dear friend! Hugs, Eileen
