What's on your workdesk this 466th Wednesday? (the one where she wonders who remembers her)

I know!!  You don't have to tell me.  I've been gone a long time, and some of the newer participants have probably never heard of me.  But I'm going to try to join Julia, our beloved host at Stamping Ground and other deskers as often as I can find the time, or until my keyboard, which is now broken, dies a sudden and painful death after I throw it across the room in frustration.

What's on my worktable, where I stand to make art, are some bEARTHday art pieces I have not yet put away, along with the requisite rocking horse.   I have several new ones, so will be happy to share them over the next few weeks.

This one was a Christmas gift from my shopaholic friend Kathy, who believes MORE is NEVER ENOUGH!

Photo bombing the scene (as usual) is WOYWWendy proudly sporting her latest WOYWW button.  She is my alter ego with short hair and bangs that normally hang into her eyes.

She often lives in the chaos of the tool holder that lives on my table.

Thanks for visiting today.  I can only hope my keyboard spits out at least three letters for every 125 keys I press!  I'll be by to visit and if you are coming from Julia's, please leave your number.

Your workdesk doesn't look too untidy. I've never seen a lacy horse before. Sorry about the keyboard! Have a fun day, Valerie

I hope you get a new keyboard soon, I can only imagine how frustrating that must be.... Lovely to see you and your very lacy rocking horse - welcome back! Helen #??

Yukky news about the keyboard but at least you have a lovely huge rocking horse to cheer you. Wonder what Squiggles and Bleubeard thought about that at Christmas. Give them a cuddle from me and you know who an extra tickle.
Good to have you back Elizabeth, please keep coming, you have been missed.
Hugs, Neet 6 xx

It's a real pain when technology begins to fail, i've not had a keyboard problem for a good while now but it's chargers that seem to be failing me with my little laptop being on the fourth replacement!! << Really hope I haven't cursed myself saying that now.
Love your gifts and delightful rag doll, what a super friend to have by your side whilst crafting. A welcome return to WOYWW.
Wishing you sunshine & creativity Tracey #5

Hello there. It’s good to see you joining in the fun. I left you a message on my weekly smiles post a couple of weeks ago but you haven’t been back since...the plant with the white bells is a Pieris shrub.

How lovely to see you and Wendy. And the newish rocking horse. like a Victorian who feels the table legs need covering for fear of impropriety, Kathy managed to find you a rocking horse that needs to have it’s rockers covered! Sorry about the keyboard...I totally get how maddening that is and suspect that it might be an investment worth making!!

I Love WOYWWendy! I especially love her face. I made many odd dolls in the past, stuffed funny ones like WOYWWendy, but haven’t been able since hand surgery. Someday I will again! For now, it’s Art Journal pages and Paper Making, which I’m obsessed with doing. I also love your lacy horse, it is a museum quality oddity! Oh, Elizabeth, I also like Pink Floyd. :) Thanks, as always, for visiting and commenting on my blog. You are a peach.

Computers really do test our patience don't they -I get more wound up with mine than with most other things! Hope you get yours sorted out soon. So lovely to see you, Wendy and your rocking horses back - that is one fancy horse you have there, very pretty and decorative! Hope you have a great week and thank you for your earlier visit.

It's so lovely to see you back on the desks Elizabeth! And you most definitely aren't forgotten. The rocking horse is a beauty, I can see why your friend got it for you :-D. It was lovely to see all your WOYWW paraphernalia but the green Genius at Work sign is what made me laugh the most! Hope the keyboard stands up to the extra bashing today....

Hi Elizabeth, I'm new to WOYWW but recognised your name via my friend Valerie.
Love that rocking horse which is really pretty and also laughed about the keyboard chucking - technology is great until it doesn't work!
Your puss Bleubeard looks very regal.

Your keyboard, my desktop! I turned it on and it decided that it didn't want to be and off it shut itself, after 3 times I gave up. Love the horse, quite a frilly pony! Thanks for the visit.

Elizabeth; If I've wanted to do the same with the phone 100 times; it's been 100 times....the ole adage tech is great when it works...turn the keyboard upside down and give it a good shake; sometimes small things get stuck under a letter { staple etc } ☺☺♥♥

It's been a while since I saw a rocking horse (your blog) and I love this one! THe doll is supercute too! It's frustrating when the computer/keyboard doesn't work properly, I know all about it! Thanks for visiting my blog yesterday - yes, the star-shape 'chanels' around Middelburg were dug that way to defend the city easily in early times... you can walk all around that 'star' - it's about an hour walk to go from one end to the other - and it's a beautiful park-like walk.... my beloved and I actually did this morning but i didn't bring my camera. (I will next time) Enjoy your week! Hug from Holland, Marit #4

I love Wendy! She must be your muse. . .! A few years ago I would have agreed with you regarding mounted stamps - I wouldn't think of unmounting them, until I had over 2000 of them and they were taking up all the space in my room, and I was having difficulty finding what I wanted! Now they are all flat, in one spot, and taking up a tenth of the room, so me it was worth it! And no, I can't seem to just stop buying stamps! LOL! Thanks for your visit, and have a great week!
