365 Day Art Challenge: Week 21

Here are my collages for Week 21.  This 365 something project was created in part and hosted by Hanna at i Hanna.   This week instead of creating collages, I decided to play around with my water soluble crayons.  I was hoping to learn more about them and how much pressure I needed to apply as well as how much water I needed to add.  Here are the results.

In case you missed them, here are Week 20's cards.  As I'm sure you know by now, I post every Monday morning for the previous week.  All my collages are 4" X 4" (10,16 cm X 10,16 cm).

A measure of her worth

Coloring outside the lines

Thank you so much for spending time with me today.  If you are playing in Hanna's 365 Something project, please let me know and I will be by to see what you are making.  Please let me know if you like any of these.  As always, I am extremely grateful for your continued support of this project and my art.

It must be fun to colour with water soluble crayons. I've never used them.
Happy Memorial day Elizabeth.

I love them all and specially I am in awe of "It all comes down to this" what looks like an abstract poppyfield to me and "Coloring outside the lines" looks very artsy and "Harmony" makes me happy with my favourite color combination. I think those were fantastic pieces to get loose in mark making! Well done!
O.k. I take them all...lol!
Did you try out the portfolio watersoulble waxcrayons already.
I can tell you that the CarandAche Neocolors II are my favourites, as they are so rich pigmented, but
the portfolio are great when you want to make very quick backgrounds.
I like both brands and I also bought some very cheap watersoluble crayons at "Lidl" recently ( no name, meant for kids) with very light pastel colours. They are lovely as well.
Wishing you a happy start into a new creative new week my friend!
Sending you sunshine for in and out my lovely Co.-Admin!
Hugs, Susi

I love all of these, Elizabeth, especially the top two and the last just because those colors resonate so much. I've never done much with water soluble crayons. I should try.

I adore all these shape pieces. :) They are very artsy- but this does seem to be the challenge you really excelled in-every week. (Not just saying-or writing-that either). I hope you are having a great Monday holiday. We are cloudy and cool, but that is a good excuse to be lazy this morning which I really needed. But I am about to go out and do a little gardening, and some laundry and hopefully some art. Or maybe just a long nap too. Enjoy. Hugs-Erika

Fun artsy peices Elizabeth - I thought it looked like you had drawn on to some sort of T-shirt type of material but I guess it must be testured paper maybe?
They're all pretty cool! have fun exploring and playing with your water soluble crayons.
And a message for young Bleubeard - you may have to wait for that portrait as I'm still learning :)

These are really neat (as in cool, not as opposed to messy - lol), Elizabeth. Love the "coloring outside thee lines concept. Very pretty pieces.

Love ‘It All Comes Down to This” because, well, red circles! And great title. Love all your titles as usual. I like this group of cards. “The Measure of her Worth” is a very interesting social commentary. Well done all around.

I like these and I like that you had a little rest from making collages every week as it must be quite hard to keep going with new and original collages and titles, as you do.
These were fun and encourage me to have some play with art materials.
