Spot

I'm once again joining Rike at Rike's Art who is this month's host at Art Journal Journey with her theme Animals A to Z.

Something a bit different today.

I am going psychedelic.

Spot is a psychedelic dog

who loves his name.

This page was created in my Challenges altered book.   Everything came from a very old flyer (from 2002) for the annual fund raiser for the Humane Society.   I used letters and the peace sign, as well as the darling dog for this entry.  Every piece came from the flyer and I pieced it together in collage form.

Thank you so much for joining me today and thank you for your visit.  I also hope to see you at Art Journal Journey, too.

Great collage with strong lines and colours! To answer your query, no that is not my craft room where I created Dixie the Diva. It is the workshop of the artist who ran the session, and I am extremely jealous of it too!

That is different and I like it. Spot is one hip dog. I don't think hip is quite the word anymore, but I will use it because this page reminds me of being a kid back in the 1960's. Hope it's been a great weekend. We just got another 10 inches and by Wednesday it is supposed to be 70 degrees. EEKS! What weather. Hugs-Erika

I like your outstanding pages very well! You always have such great ideas for very creative pages - and so here comes Spot, the psychedelic dog! Spot looks a little bit dangerous, but the piece sign in his eye tells us we should not be frightened :) - as long as he has enough to eat in his pot!
Thank you for such a clever journalpage to my theme at Art Journal Journey! I love it! Rike xx

Elizabeth, this makes me smile so big and happy! I love your use of color and the overall "look" of "Spot" as a dog! Very fun and clever. Love the peace sign! We could all use a little more of that these days.

I'll be seeing a lot of dogs this year, I'm sure, since it's the animal for this Chinese New Year. I like your peace sign best ;)

This is a great idea, to take a flyer and reassemble it. Your collage looks like an op-art poster. You are so good at making your collages.
Did Bleubeard and Squiggles not object to you making a Dog artwork?
Did Bleubeard refuse to help this time?
