T Stands For Gifts From Friends

My napkin holder/card holder is finally filling up with cards from friends.   Note they have not been opened yet.

I wanted to wait and open them for T.

However, I can't decide if I want eggnog, hot chocolate, or coffee with half and half.

One thing I'm not indecisive about though, are all these beautiful gifts I've received since we met last Tuesday.

My friend Stephanie and I were in many swaps together and every year she sends me a calendar.   She does NOT have a blog or web site, though.  She was always trying to get me to do more stamping, so I hope she likes her tip-in from me this year.

The other card is from my new friend Ro of In the know with Ro.  Her planner/calendar puts mine to shame.

On the far left is a beautiful card from Eileen, The Artful Crafter (and a T Tuesday participant) who not only made the card, made the envelope, too.

The beautiful and glittery reindeer was created by Krisha, of Krisha's Keepsakes (also a T Tuesday participant).

At the top right is a card from my dear friend Chrissie.  She has two blogs, one is Knit, Crochet, Sew and the other is Jumbled Crafts.  Hers was the biggest surprise when I received it.

And last, but not least is the beautiful card from Linda, of heARTfully inspired by Linda, which I am sure you saw on her blog and T post last week.  She also decorated the envelope with the most adorable and precious tree!  Linda said as soon as she read about my love of cardinals, she had to print one of these for me.  I love it, and it is already in my main floor bath.  I just need to find a frame (I have loads of frames in the basement, so that's no problem) and it will hang on the wall.

I can't begin to thank all of you who sent these lovely gifts from the heart.  They mean the world to me and have touched my heart like you cannot begin to believe.  Thank you each and every one from the bottom (to the top) of my heart.

By now, I'm sure most of you know the drill.  It's your turn to share a drink related post.  It can be photos, a place you visited, movies, postcards, books, sketches, mixed media, drawings, paintings, tags, teabags, scrapbooking, or any other art that is digital, hybrid, or traditional, as long as it in some way relates back to a drink, any drink. Regardless, please share below and Bleubeard and I, along with the rest of the T gang will be by to visit.  Old photos are acceptable because they may be taken any time.

BTW, our next T day is Christmas/Boxing Day/Kwanza depending on where you live and when you post your T post.  I will be here, but I will understand if you can't make it due to other commitments.   If I don't see you before Christmas, please have a lovely, safe, joy filled day.  Remember it's the thought, not the gift that counts.

What lovely Christmas cards you have received. This year I didn't write a single card, nor have I received one either.
I think in this day of emails and other means of communication the letters and cards are getting to be less and less used, which is a pity.
Have a wonderful Christmas Elizabeth.

Merry Christmas!! I couldn't wait that long to do a grand Christmas card opening.......I HAVE to open them right away...LOL! I don't get nearly as many cards as we used to, which is sad. But I LOVE to make them and send them out, I don't care what the postage is........I only do it once a year!
Happy T-day!

I'm glad you like the card and envelope, Elizabeth. That was lovely of you to save them all to open for the T-party. Very ceremonial. I LOVE Linda's cardinal card. I bet she's delighted that you plan to frame and hang it. The calendar and planner cards are very special too.

Happy T-day! Hugs, Eileen

Elizabeth i had to go back to reread the comment i left you... When i said lately hubby has been bringing in handfuls of cards should realistically have said 'the last few days' I'm just so over the moon about it.. Its been a good card year for me.. I send but don't always receive. Most come from friends... family doesn't like to mail things and apparently they mean it... lol Hugs! deb

Well first things first. I adore that napkin holder! Thanks for sharing some of the lovely cards and artwork you've received, including mine. That was so kind. My planner is mostly stickers, but I sure wish I was as clever as you to come up with actual art.(lol) Give me eggnog mixed in with my coffee. Are you also a tea drinker? I have tons of different flavors for the Keurig and also for dipping into a cup, and can't even explain how I got them all. (lol) All I know is that they taste yummy. Happy Saturday!! Hugs...RO
