Let's wrap it up!

Today I'm celebrating Christmas with Moo-Mania & More.  I'm also celebrating with Sheila at Orange Esmeralda, our wonderful host this month at Art Journal Journey with her theme Let's Celebrate.

Everything went pretty well until I decided to add a heart to the top of the "i."  I should leave well enough alone.

Aren't these soaps wrapped beautifully?  I wish I had the stamps that were used on these.  And each has such a special embellishment, too.

Thanks for joining me today at both Moo-Mania & More and Art Journal Journey.  I am so grateful you dropped by and I also appreciate that you take the time to support my art.  I hope to also see you at both challenge blogs today.

Oh my gosh, how cool. I actually thought they were stamps at first glance.
Have a jolly week.

Beautifully wrapped soaps Elizabeth. I've also made soaps last week to give as Christmas presents, but they are wrapped in ordinary Christmas paper.

Those are gorgeous soap wrappings. they are very festive without being too red and green. :) And clever to add the bottle brush trees and wreaths. Better than bows. I need to remember that because I think that is much more festive than bows. I'm with you, those stamps are perfect. Just enough details but not too much. I think you turned the soap bars and their wrappings into a great festive page. happy Monday. I need to wake up and get myself moving. Hugs-Erika

These are terrifically wrapped, Elizabeth. Gives me some more ideas. I like the unusualness of the brown paper and a black stamp, and the additions are so clever. My favourite is the wreath on the door.
Have a great day!

I love how you wrapped up the soaps , the packages all look beautiful, they are wonderful gifts. Each one is so individual with the decorations you added.
I use brown paper as gift wrap as well.
The journal page looks fantastic.

I thought they were stamps and you had embellished for decorations. Very cool wrappings and they make a happy page. I love the VW Bug driving home with the Christmas tree.

These soaps are really wrapped beautifully! The stamps and the added decorations are fitting perfect, each theme has its own decoration - and I like this brown paper!
Wish you a happy Christmas time!

Elizabeth, what a great way to wrap soaps and so creative. I feel like these can make their way over to Etsy so others can see these too! Brilliant idea and very festive too. Hugs and Happy Monday! RO

Wonderful wrapping. I stopped to really look at each and every one of them. I've become lazy over the years and most everything gets covered in tissue and goes into a gift bag.

Excellent -- you did good! (I have trouble leaving wee enough alone too).

Oh aren't they fabulous Elizabeth. I also thought they'd been stamped too. I love the extra special little embellishment each one has - genius and so is your page - love it!
Thanks for the lovely comment you left me yesterday too.

Wrapped with love, indeed! I love how each one is decorated. It's not often I see such care taken with wrapping. Now that I've discovered gift bags I just put some tissue paper around them and pop the gifts in.

This is the cutest wrapping I've seen this year and I've seen a lot! I love the look of the stamping on the brown and then the embellishments are wonderful. Very clever!

Two Gypsy-comment related things. You can order the muzzles online or at least see a better image of them if you're interested in making them. They're out of that parachute cloth with velcro closure and the only opening is for the nose hole so they can't see (or bite or hiss much!) If you google cat muzzle and look at the images it's pretty easy to get the gist.

Bottle brush trees -- I'd be glad to send you some if you can't find ones you want. I dyed a bunch this winter. Also, good prices for them online if you can't find them near you. I found some at Michael's but I think online prices are better.

And I love your trees and think they're wonderful. And your rocking horses make me swoon! Happy Christmas Week!

these are the prettiest wraps I have seen! These truly are a gift in themselves. And now I'm singing "brown paper packages tied up with strings"....

Wow, such a lot of lovely cards and gifts and awesome wrapped soaps!
Such a lot of joy.
I'm joining today, but in next weeks maybe I can not, must make a blog break and will later again. My life is just breaking down (lucky last week, as I had still space for creativity!) - my 90years old mother is in a hospital now, outside of our town and I'm the whole day on the way, riding with bus there and back, Christmas will be canceled in this year...
Merry Christmas time from Germany

That’s a very cool page Elizabeth - I”m trying to figure out if the soaps are actual soaps or pictures of soaps - it would make a very thick page! I thought maybe they were the soaps you made but I see you say you wish you had the stamps so I’m thinking not. Anyway I think it’s delightful, and you did a great job writing with glitter - not the easiest thing in the world, especially for someone who doesn’t love their own writing!

I don't get the Anthropolgie catalog ;-( So I would have been completely fooled by the soap pictures too if I hadn't read your year end post. The soap wrappings are adorable and oh-so-clever - especially the tree on top of the car and wreath on the door. I like your journal page too!
