Friendship warms the heart

I'm once again joining Chris from PearShapedCrafting, this month's host at Art Journal Journey with her theme of 101 Ways to Stay Warm.

These little girls may be sisters or they may just like to dress alike.  Regardless, they are friends and friendship warms the heart.  And because this is really colorful, I'm also joining Try it on Tuesday with their theme of Colo(u)rful.

A love bird postage stamp,

a shimmery heart outlined with a Sharpie, computer generated text,

a torn security envelope, washi tape, and patterned paper

provide the background for these paper dolls.

Thank you for stopping by today to see this latest Art Journal Journey and Try it on Tuesday entry.

This is Day 27 of AEDM and I created a spread in my Challenges altered book.   I'm also linking to Art Journal Journey and Try it on Tuesday.  Hope to see you at each of these places.   I am extremely grateful that you visited today.

I guess those two are twins - and maybe soulsisters as well since they have such a happy smile on their faces!I like this little collage with the thorn papers -
you always have such super compositions and recycling paper looks artsy on your pages!
Thank you for joining the colorful challenge at Try It On Tuesday and thank you my friend for supporting the AJJ collection and Chris so well!

Wishing you a happy start of the week - I hope you got the keyboard problems sorted ♥♥♥ - thinking of you!

I'm always amazed at the different materials you use in your pages. Who would think a torn envelope would make a good background? Very clever Elizabeth.
Have a lovely week.

I had to laugh at the hypothesis testing on the top of the page. Being the biologist it makes me think that you are testing whether friendship is a warm thing. Ha-ha-ha. Just me being silly on a MOnday morning. I like the words in the background. I do love this page and I love those 2 little girls. Those TH people have some great characters. I LOVE the paper layering. Have a great Monday. Hugs-Erika

Like Erika, I smiled at the title at the top of the page. I really like this layout. The small details, like the numbers (ruler scale?) make such a difference. Really draws the eye to the main subject.

I was admiring the blue page element. It reminded me of dress fabric. Maybe a detail of the checks on the girls' dresses. Who knew security envelopes could be so pretty? Near or far friendships are the best.
