Wednesday wonders: Halloween

I've been inspired by a new blog I'm now visiting called Incipient Wings.  She's a mixed media artist who is obsessed with Halloween.  You will enjoy the stories she writes, the things she cooks, her book reviews, her assemblages, and other great things, like her love of RUST and chocolate (not together, of course).  But her love of Halloween is what prompted me to pick this theme this week.

Here's to lots of treats and no tricks on Halloween this year.

I want to thank each of you for visiting today and inspiring my Wednesday wonders posts.  Although the photos come from Pexels, my ideas come from visiting your blogs.  Today I was inspired by Incipient Wings.

Thanks for passing on a new friend to visit, Elizabeth! I'm not a hardcore fan of Halloween like most, but I do enjoy the colors of Fall, and the creativity that the season brings about with carvings, costumes and recipes. To me, it's the start of the holiday season. I really enjoy the fun, spooky and unique photos you've shared, and they're a great way to start my Wednesday! HUGE Hugs...RO

Wonderful photos to get us in the Halloween mood! I love all those colourful pumpkins - boo-ti-ful ...lol 😉. Have a great day! J 😊
p.s. hope the English Muffin and Teacake' information helped, it was a bit complicated as we have regional variations when it comes to teacakes ...lol 😉. J x

Some spooky photos Elizabeth. Some look very arty too. It's always fun to be a little dark and spooky once a year, especially when the days get shorter and the leaves turn colors and fall off. have yours started to turn yet? Happy hump day. Hugs-Erika

Of all the images, the actual graveyard is the spookiest all covered with ivy, what lurks there at night! Nice photo bomb of the season. xox

How I love all the fall and Halloween you are sharing here! It's wonderful! It's finally feeling fallish here in Michigan. We had our first frost. (I should have nabbed the zinnias two days ago.) Ah, well. Life...

That was fun, Elizabeth. I liked the skeleton with the Bat Wing Potion and the various expressions on pumpkins, especially the little laughing one with the witches hat, the tired ghost and the spooky graveyard, lots of Halloween inspiration there. We don't celebrate Halloween like you do in the States, it is more for children here.
