T Stands For Impeccable Taste

Before we begin today,  I want to remind you that we have one more week to prepare our ATCs for the 4th T Stands For Tuesday Anniversary Party.  It would be best if you have yours ready to send to your Pay It Forward (PIF) partner on the 18th, so they can go out that day or the next.  Remember, you only need ONE ATC to play, but you can exchange as many as you like with other T Tuesday participants, or even friends who visit your blog at other times.

Also, before we begin, I have to once again thank my friend Halle.  When she helped me set up my buttons for T Stands For Tuesday and Second on the 2nd, she asked if I had a Photobucket account.  Surely you gest!  I'm a blogger and didn't even know what Photobucket was.  I recently read on Kate Crane's blog that Photobucket is now charging $399.00 (I'm assuming that's USD) a year to third party host your photos.  Thanks to Halle, I didn't need an account with them.  Now all I have to do is stay friends with Halle (something that is VERY EASY to do)! Let's thank Halle and return to our regularly scheduled post.

Because Bleubeard and I are hosting Art Journal Journey this month,

today's T post is all about a cup of summertime coffee.  Of course it doesn't hurt to have a HOT hunk holding it.

Enough said!

Now this is what I call

a good looking cup of coffee.

Can't you just feel all that summertime warmth and love?

I backed the hunk magazine image with heavy card stock so it would stand away from the background.  I tried to get "artsy" with doodles that circled the page.

I thought the hunk didn't need anything else, other than the background, which I created from a gelatin plate using a stencil gifted me by my friend Corrine Gilman.

Materials include white card stock, gelatin printing, a gifted stencil, a paint marker, and computer generated text colored with watercolor crayons (the gift that keeps on giving).

Now it's your turn to share your T entry this week.  The rules are extremely simple.  Your drink related post may be anything from a photo of a glass, cup, or mug, to an actual drink.  You may choose to share a sketch or a digital, hybrid, or traditional page in your scrapbook, art journal, or altered book as I did today.  Maybe you'd prefer to share a tag, or wow us with your photography.  You might choose a postcard or decorated card.  You might even draw an image on a used tea bag.  Or perhaps you prefer to review a place you visited, a movie, or book.  It makes no difference as long as it's drink related.  And don't forget that the more unique and outside the box it is, the better we like it.  Please tie it back here, and please link only to your T post, not your entire blog.  When you link, Bleubeard, the T gang, and I will be by to visit.   Bleubeard would also like to remind you that your photos may be taken any time, even months or years ago, if you choose. Art Journal Journey

Thanks for joining Bleubeard and me for T this Tuesday, and we also hope to see you at Art Journal Journey with your favorite post that is loaded with summertime love.

Well, well, I might even start drinking tea if that hot hunk was serving it! But as he's not here, I'll carry on drinking coffee....What a fun journal page! Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie

I don't know what Photobucket is either, Elizabeth, but at $399 a year now, I won't even bother looking! You wrote a lovely intro for AJJ. Summertime Love is definitely better with a hot hunk who also has impeccable taste and style - lol.

I'm trying to figure out how you got that wonderful texture that looks like embossing in the background.

Happy T-Day! Thank you for continuing to host this lovely event. Hugs, Eileen

That is one good looking cup of coffee. I wonder if he has a brother that prefers tea.

I use my phone to take photos. So Google Photo automatically uploads and stores them for free.

If you blog on Blogger, your photos are automatically saved for free.

Oh what a hot hunk! I mean what a hot cup of coffee! That is the sort of artwork to hang on the wall, lol.
Photobucket, hmmm, I have vaguely heard of it. But $399 is far too expensive. I use Flickr which doesn't cost me anything. I have my whole collection of postcards (plus stamps) on it.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca

Hello, I hope you had a nice 4th of July holiday last week.

Long-haired guys are not my cup of tea (you can keep him), but I do love the background and overall look of that journal page. I can tell that this was a fun one for you to make.

Take care and have a Happy T Day!

He is hunky, for sure. And stylish too. I don't drink coffee but I might if he smiled at me and served me coffee. :) Love your background too. It is very artsy. Happy T day. Hugs-Erika

Nice page with some eye candy. :)
We just renewed our domain for another 5 years I think so no fear of losing your photo hosting for a while. LOL IT's easy to stay friends with you as well. I have been horribly out of touch though. I'm going to have to call you one of these days/weeks...so much happening.

Now that is a HUNK I might even drink a coffee or two if he were around, eye candy for sure.
He has a wonderful setting with the background you created and leaving space to admire this handsome guy was a good idea.
Happy T day.

Great summertime coffee page, but I think he may be too "hot" in that suit for summer ... lol 😉. The background you created is beautiful, the stencil and colours give such an elegant summer feel. Wishing you a Happy T Day! J 😊
p.s. thanks for your lovely comments on my blog and I totally agree about the comments you made about the gymnasts, looked dangerous to me too. J x

Thanks for stopping by Elizabeth! Lady will be staying with us if no one claims her by Wednesday. After 10 days I don't have to give her up if I don't want to.

What a fun page, and I got a real kick out of your narrative. :). I love the gelatin background! Great colours to back your 'magazine image'. And I must say that retro design on the mug is fab too!
