T Stands For Bungalow 26, part 2

If you missed last week's T party at Bungalow 26, you can find it here.  Here are the rest of the photos from there.

Mugs,

vintage spoons with sayings,

more mugs,

even more mugs,

mugs I loved

on every side,

soaps, shaving brushes,

another group of mugs,

place mats,

colorful mugs,

and burning papers

I photographed for Linda and Patty.

When we finally left, it had quit raining.  Next week I'll share my tea I purchased.

Before we went to lunch, I wanted a few photos of this Keeper of the Plains.  So far I've only seen two, but there are supposed to be 10.

Obviously, this one focuses on the Wichita, KS flag.

I got a little carried away with the sculpture, because, although I have never been a big fan of Native American art, ever since my neighbor cut the silhouette of a Keeper of the Plains from heavy metal, I can't seem to get enough of them.

Now it's your turn to share your T entry this week.  The rules are extremely simple.  Your drink related post may be anything from a photo of a glass, cup, or mug, to an actual drink.  You may choose to share a sketch or a digital, hybrid, or traditional page in your scrapbook, art journal, or altered book.  Maybe you'd prefer to share a tag, or wow us with your photography.  You might choose a postcard or decorated card.  You might even draw an image on a used tea bag.  Or perhaps you prefer to review a place you visited, a movie, or book.  It makes no difference as long as it's drink related.  And don't forget that the more unique and outside the box it is, the better we like it.  Please tie it back here, and please link only to your T post, not your entire blog.  When you link, Bleubeard, the T gang, and I will be by to visit.   Bleubeard would also like to remind you that your photos may be taken any time, even months or years ago, if you choose.

Please be thinking about if you want to participate in our 4th annual T Stands For Tuesday anniversary next month.   I would like to suggest making pay-it-forward (PIF) ATCs again this year, but it's whatever you want.  I'm always open to suggestions.

Wow, that shop is so amazing, I could happily spend all day in there looking around! I really like the black mugs with the beautiful feathers on them and I can see why you loved the kitty cat mug with the balls of wool too, it's purr-fect! (sorry, I just couldn't stop myself - grin!). The Keeper of the Plains is something special too. Wishing you a Happy T Day! J :-)

Wow, to all the wonderful photos. The mugs look great, I may have been tempted to buy one. I think you can tell I love mugs.
However, I was really drawn to look closely at the antique spoons with the sayings on them, they looked fantastic.
The Keeper of the Plains looks a wonderful sculpture, colourful as well.
Happy T day Elizabeth, I look forward to seeing what you purchased as well.

That tea shop has really cool mugs. I think I would find it very tempting to buy a new mug. The cat and yarn mug is super cool. And I like the statue a lot too. I'm with you. I have come to appreciate Native American art in the past couple of years too. I call it maturing and getting broader tastes. :) Hope its a happy T day. Hugs-Erika

Oh MY!!!!! All of those glorious cups and mugs!!!! Eye candy delight! Thanks so much for sharing them. I like the Keep of the Plains. My husband and I used to do Native American art and set up at Pow Wows to sell it. In fact that is how we met. So the art speaks to me. ♥♥♥

As I was looking at the mugs, I was having a hard time until I saw the tuxedo cat mugs. Yup, my favorite. I had to look up what Papier d'Armenie was as I have never heard of it. I use a diffuser with essential oils. Keepers of the Plain. Is this the symbol of Wichita? Were the sculptures decorated by various artist around the city? fun and majestic.

Wonderful photos of that Bungalow 29 shop! I can't get enough of it. Such great mugs and I love those vintage spoons. One has 'Gelukkig Kerstfeest' on it, which is Dutch for 'Happy Christmas'.
What on earth are French burning papers? Are they like incense? Smell nice when you burn them. But there is an 'oo la la' on the sign, so perhaps it is something to do with the bedroom that I am unaware of....
Lucky you to have such a fantastic shop nearby.
The Keeper of the Plains is lovely too. I suppose they are scattered around the city and are coloured in different colours and with different themes. It will be fun to try and find all 10 of them....
Happy T-Day,
Lisca

What a fun place! I could spend hours in a store like that. I love the vintage stamped spoons. The mugs are marvelous, especially "Books for Breakfast" - lol - the llamas, hedgehogs and feathers. I definitely couldn't walk out of Bungalow 26 empty-handed!

Happy T-Day, Elizabeth! Hugs, Eileen

I'd have had trouble choosing a mug, but I couldn't have left without at least one. The statue is a stunner, so bright! It'd be fun to see them all. I always enjoy the public art :)

Look at all those wonderful things at Bungalow 26. Good thing it wasn't me there or I would have ended up in the poor house without any way to get back home. I think if you were showing all things you liked, we would find we are much the same!

And thanks for cruising by the Southern Exposure post. I wish you could come see it in person and load your brain to overload with all the fun ideas. It is clearly my happy place!
