March calendar complete, April ready, and AJJ review

I want to thank Yvonne for being such a great host of Art Journal Journey this month.  Not only is she a great artist, sharing her incredible mixed media art every day, she visited everyone who linked, too.   Even before this prestigious hosting could occur, but after she agreed to host AJJ this month, she lost her precious Meg, something that is difficult to handle by even the best strongest of us (at least for those of us who believe our pets are our family).  Bereavement is, after all, bereavement.  If that wasn't enough, she had her Try it on Tuesday hosting duties, too.  I pity the person who follows her as the next AJJ host!

I want to thank everyone who wished me a speedy recovery.  Although I still have a cough which is from my sinuses draining into my throat at night,  I am feeling MUCH better.  I am sure all of your well wishes contributed to my recovery, too.

It's been awhile since I had enough pages to share a recap of my Art Journal Journey pages for the month.  But I finally had enough this month, so here are the pages I made for Yvonne's Out and About theme.  Please don't forget to thank her for hosting, too.

Remember how I tried to photograph my March, 2017 blank calendar page?

I can truthfully say how happy I am that, thanks to my computer guru Scott, my scanner is now once again talking to my computer.   Minutia for those who like to read my boring life (and my erratic ink pen I didn't notice was making all kinds of marks one night when I was contemplating filling out the day's activity).

April is ready to be written in, too.  Now I admit, my calendar pages are quite bland compared to the beautiful ones created by friends like Chris, Krisha, Linda, and Dianne, but I tried to make them more enjoyable for awhile, and still can't make them look good because I didn't buy the right size notebook.  I have one more year after this, and I can buy one that might actually work.  Until then, these 1 inch squares are all I have to work with each month.

Thanks for visiting today, because this is the only place you  will see my very boring calendar pages, and my AJJ wrap-up.

And for those of you who are new to my blog, beginning tomorrow, I will create something each day that has been recycled, repurposed, or reused.  Please join me every day through April 22, which according to the calendar is Earth Day, but in my world is bEARTHday.

You gave a wonderful thank you to lovely Yvonne! Thank you for this and for all the amazing pages you created this past month dear Elizabeth!
I am looking forward to seeing your EARTH month projects as you always have such fantastic ideas and you inspire me so much.

I am quite sure that the next month's AJJ theme would be one for you and your 7-Continents Altered Book, but if you have Earth Month you will not have much time I fear.
Happy weekend!

I'm so glad you are feeling much better. And I really loved seeing your mosaic of photos from this months AJJ. They really work well together, the colors, thematically. There are more than a few that really speak to me. What a wonderful body of work. Bravo.

So pleased to hear you are starting to feel a bit better Elizabeth. Hopefully it won't be too long until you are over this nasty thing.
Yes - what a fantastic job Yvonne did again :) and your re-cap looks wonderful seeing everything together that you created this month.
Thank you for the kind comments you left me on yesterdays post.. I really appreciated that... and as for the mess - oh - its still a mess as I went and did weeding in the garden and started dismantling a brick wall instead... - I liked your offer of the cleanup help oh such a shame that you don't live closer :)
Have a lovely weekend... Gill x

Pleased to find that you are getting better! It's great to see your AJJ pages all together! Thank you for the compliment but you know how I love the way you add to your pages over the month - unhappy though you may be with your notebook I understand that you need to finish it - I could never abandon a book either! As for the marks your pen made. ...they look very similar to ones my pen makes when I am completing a crossword late at night- grin!!! Hugs, Chrisx

I think your calendar pages are marvelous Elizabeth. No matter how you make them they will always be such a great way to look back. Glad you're feeling better. Boy, this stuff seems to linger for a longer time than usual this year.
