Mere days before Christmas, my foodie friend Sally and I had our hair cut.
Sally had called in for both of us, but even though she said we were together, there was someone ahead of me. I got a horrible stylist who I don't think had cut anyone's hair before, and another stylist had to come finish for him. I ended up having to tip both of them, which was only fair, but costly.
I had to laugh at the sign because I cut my own bangs, so they should have paid me the $6.00 and only charged me the remaining $6.00.
After we had our hair cut (cut only), we headed downtown to Old Town.
As we walked by the shops,
I was struck by the various Christmas and winter items on display.
I tried to get a picture of the sparkly tree, but the pot outside seemed to overtake the shot.
While Sally forged ahead, I stopped here to take photos of a shop I thought
Darla might find inspiring.
At first I thought Sally might want to stop
at the Japanese restaurant.
We went there once for dinner, but never lunch.
We walked on and contemplated Mexican food, but neither of us was really in the mood for it.
Then we found a familiar spot we both like: Todd Brian's Brick Street Cafe and Tavern.
Sally and I started talking and laughing, and I nearly forgot to take a photo of our drinks, let alone the meals we had. She had a Yo Burger with regular fries, and I had Shrimp Pasta. As you can see from the menu, they don't exactly cater to vegetarians.
Now it's your turn. You may share
a place you visited, an empty cup, a full cup, teapot, or mug, movies,
postcards, books, sketches, mixed media, drawings, paintings, tags,
scrapbooking, or other art that is digital, hybrid, or traditional, as
long as it in some way relates back to a drink, any drink. Regardless,
please share below (direct links only, please), then Bleubeard and I, along with the rest of the T
gang will be by to visit. Bleubeard would
like to remind you that your photos may be taken any time, not just
EDIT: There seems to be something wrong with Mr Linky. He may have gone a bit bonky. Please just add your latest link. This week's links begin with Valerie at 20. I greatly apologize, but have no way of knowing how to change it.
