September complete and October ready in my never ending calendar

(Click to enlarge to see the minutia)  For the first month in a long time, my life was not as boring as it has been in the past.  It all began on day 1 when I began hosting Art Journal Journey.  I had an added duty, too.  I cat sat my neighbor's two cats until she returned a week later.  We went to eat at our favorite buffet, but it had changed.  To thank me for cat sitting, Sally bought tickets for us to see Sully.  We were originally going the first day it opened, but I talked her into waiting until Monday, instead.  In between, however, my hot water heater finally gave out, and Scott and I installed a new one (mostly Scott, but I managed to help).

The weekends were first filled with an art fair Sally and I both love to attend, then we were off to Museum Day and a small craft fair the following weekend.  To round out our fun this month, we went to the zoo, where we got to see the elephants again, as well as other animals, etc. we had not seen before.

I somehow doubt I'll have as much fun in October, but at least I got out of the house in September and out of my moldy basement I'm still trying to clean up.

September sounds like a great month for you, both in blogland and in Real World. Nice to look after two more cats, I'm sure they got lots of strokes. I don't know how you managed to make so much super artwork with all your out and abouting.
Your calender is terrific, memories recorded and all the little pictures too.
I like the bookworm and the last day of summer's sun wearing his sunglasses.

I have high hopes for your October, with fall color in full swing to inspire you and cooler weather perhaps making outings easier. Your September calendar is very full, though... :)

You never fail to amaze me with your tenacity with keeping up on the calendar project. It really is cool that you are able to look back at it and really see where your time has been spent. I see you went to the zoo the same week we did...looking forward to your photos.

I love how you spruced up your calendar this past month Elizabeth. Especially the happy sun! Sounds like you had a great month doing all kinds of fun things. :) Do we get to see any more elephant photos?

I love how you illustrate your calendar - the days look such fun - not like my boring plain squares! I love the compliments about my stamping but it wouldn't be interesting if our methods of making pages was the same! I have hang ups about using black pen all the time too - I love that you don't! As for farty brains - it was only when you mentioned mine that I realised I hadn't seen your pages! BTW this looks as though you had a really busy month so I am super impressed (as I was already!) that you got so many pages made for AJJ Hugs, Chrisx
