Foodie love (flying off the page)

This page, created on one of my used file folders, was inspired by Valerie, this month's host at Art Journal Journey.  The colors of Indian Summer are what inspired me to create this entry.

From the pumpkin platter to the pears that are flying off the page, this screams autumn.

The lady is dancing with abandon as she admits to being a foodie.

Raspberries and other autumn fruit sit among flaky puff pastries

while french fries fly off the plate and out of the book.

This is a foodie's true autumn delight.

I also have two previews.  First is the zoo, where Sally and I saw elephants and more.  In fact, we saw animals we had never seen before.  I'll take you there soon.

We also spent Smithsonian's Museum Day at the Museum of World Treasures.  I'll take you there, too.  Just have to get the photos sorted because I have over 800 to go through at these two places, and I know you don't want to see them all.

Thanks for joining me today as I visit Valerie and Art Journal Journey with my take on an autumn foodie.

I'll look forward to the museum and zoo updates. those chips (fries) are making me hungry at it's only 6 a.m...
(I didn't photograph the Victoria Gate as it's not worthy of a photo. the building is one of the many follies/temples at Kew)

What a fantastic collage Elizabeth! Just GREAT! Oh I am looking forward to seeing the photos!
Happy new week and thanks a lot for another fab entry to Valerie's AJJ theme!
Your support is always much appreciated!

I also want to tell you that you had really very much entries last month even if you think it were not much enough... if you scroll down the challenge blog you will see that there were far more months where not that amount of entries were in the past!
The theme was not the easiest for the most of our gang... so
be proud and don't understate your great succes!

Wow- you did have a very busy month last month, didn't you? Looks like it was fun and interesting though. Can't wait for those photos. I also love your foodie piece. Great fall feel- I love the sliced pears. They make me want a pear now. I am guessing it was an ad for something, but someone was thinking when they laid it out. Hope its a great start to your week. Hugs-Erika

A very cool idea! I'll look forward to the photos. I like pears but I never seem to find very good ones around here. Maybe this year!

another great autumn entry! Looking forward to the animal pictures. We don't have elephants at any zoo around here...I don't know if it's just too cold for too long or what.
