And so AEDM begins

If you are here looking for T Tuesday, please scroll backward to the previous post.   Art Every Day Month, or AEDM has begun.  Leah, the host always posts at midnight her time, which means it is 11 pm here.  I must post a bit earlier so I'm not too late to the party each day.  As a result, the daily post may seem (and look) a bit early.

I have created a certain set of rules for myself this month.  Since I intend to post every day come rain or shine,  I have vowed to spend no less than 30 minutes (it takes longer than that to get the photos off my camera, named, watermarked, and on my blog) and no more than two hours each day making an art project.  If I run over that time, I will continue the project the next day.  The idea is to spend time each day creating something artful.

Now it's time to share my

completed October calendar.  Not a lot to share, because most of the month I spent taking everyone to an upscale art fair called Autumn and Art, or to the Museum of World Treasures, or to the Zoo.  Other than a sparse amount of art, everything else was just mundane and ordinary routine boring "stuff," except Bleubeard's birthday, of course.  I didn't even have time to properly work on this calendar, either, so decorations are also quite scarce.

I'm hoping November will prove to be more artful than October.

For those of you who don't really want to read the minutia, or listen to me lamenting about how badly my calendar page is decorated, here are some photos for you to sink your teeth into.

I caught Squiggles sleeping and before he could fully wake,

I got several

photos of him sharing a spot with a couple of rocking horses.  Note his new red tag I finally got him.  Now if he is lost, there are two ways he can be found.  First by the address on his tag, which also includes his name, and second by the chip he got as a baby.  However, since he never has been outside, except in his carrier, I doubt he'll ever need it.  But it makes ME feel safer, and now both Bleubeard and Squiggles have identifying tags.

This is Day 1 of AEDM.

Thanks for dropping by.  I look forward to reconnecting with several AEDM friends I sadly only visit once a year.  And thanks to everyone else who drops by each day this month.  I'm always grateful for your visit.

I'm so glad I caught this Squiggles post.
Hello Squiggles, do you know you are famous all over the world?

Art every day - gah! - one day I might try this, it sounds fun and productive.

Squiggles looks so relaxed, lovely photos. Its good to know our pets are safe, but I think folk would have a job to get near Meg to read the tag or scan for her chip.
Enjoy your new challenge of Art every Day, sounds like it will be fun.
