Week 5's ICADs

It's time to share my latest decorated index cards or ICADs.  I've actually cheated and finished the one for today last night when I realized my internet was no longer functional.  I took these to my friend Sally's and now have scheduled three posts because I have no telephone OR internet (both are served by AT&T).  Using Sally's phone, I called AT&T, but due to the three day holiday, they can't send anyone out until Tuesday between 2 pm and 4 pm.  So, those of you signing up for T will have to get by without me until they figure out what is wrong with my phone and internet.  I fear it's due to all the rain, but I can't be sure.

"Untitled 3." (June 27, 2016) I considered using a staple on this bouquet of flowers, then opted for sewing, instead.

"Beach Day." (June 28, 2016)   I wish I was at the beach, but these images of a happy day at the beach was all I could muster.

"Untitled 4." (June 29, 2016)   More flowers, my final in fact, this time using strips of leftover patterned paper.

"Polska." (June 30, 2016)  A collage I created from items I had thrown in my scraps basket.

Now that the month is over, here's a look back at the 30 index cards I made in June.

"Going Green."  (July 1, 2016)  More leftovers too large to pitch.  The background was created using a bingo dabber, much cheaper than those expensive dabbers a certain big name company sells.

"It's cool any season."  (July 2, 2016)  Juxtaposition of summer's bounty paired with a winter snowman.

"The circle of love." (for July 3, 2016)   Since I'm busy preparing for Independence Day celebrations and visitors, I quickly put together a few more pieces left over from previous art projects so I could get these on my blog.

Thanks for joining me for a look back at this week's ICADs, as well as those I created during the month of June.  This is the only place you will see them unless Tammy has created another linky, so I greatly appreciate your visit.

Fantastic ICADS, and I love that they are all so colourful and the stitching. So sorry to hear about your Internet/Telephone, sounds awful, and hope it will soon be repaired. Enjoy the long weekend in spite of it, hugs, Valerie

These all look so Summery! I love the way you add sewing! What a bloomin' nuisance your Internet and phone being down - do you have a cell phone to keep in touch with folk? Hugs, Chrisx

Another nice assortment. I especially like tha first floral with all the stitching. Sorry to hear about your internet and phone - hope it gets fixed quickly! Great use of scraps on all your cards. That is certainly something I try to do during ICAD time too - if only there weren't so many!

Good luck with the phone / internet and hope you have a lovely July 4! It was Canada Day Friday, but of course they don't celebrate that in the UK so I had to work.

You come up with these clever ways to express sayings. I love going green and circle of love. They are very very very fun. As I mentioned before, I think these are your forte. And oh that AT&T. I hope they show up first thing Tuesday morning What a pain it is to lose your phone and internet. I get cranky when mine has gone down. Seems like 15 years ago it wouldn't have made a difference but now life is so connected that I always feel like I have been left out when its not working. Left pout of what, I don't know but its that feeling. Anyhow, hope this weekend is going well and you don't have to spend hours doing catch up once the internet is back up. Hugs-Erika

We'll have a moment of silence for your internet........
I love them all but especially the untitled card. The Victorian look is one of my favorites.

I love the way you make your Icads, unlike anyone else. I also enjoy very much your comments on each which make them come even more alive.
I like the first one with the sewing and the pot of flowers, and the boy and girl holding hands with both your names written on the photo (does Squiggles not complain that he doesn't get mentioned enough or is he publicity shy?) and the funny snowman with the summer fruits - and I like the others too.
No Internet!!! - gah! - best wishes for a swift reconnection. We cannot manage without the Internet, especially if we have a blog.
