ICADs for week 7

We're up to week 7 and I have now completed 47 ICADs.  Here are Days 41 through 47.

"Lady Loves Ballet Slippers" (July 11, 2016)  I had a bunch of paint chip samples I was going to throw in the recycle bin, then decided to add them to a piece of scrapbook paper for this rather unconventional IC.

"Fun in the Sun" (July 12, 2016)  I got this ad in the mail and couldn't resist using these pieces to create one of my one staple entries.

"Whimsical" (July 13, 2016)  I admit this didn't turn out as I anticipated.  I was going for additive and subtractive colors when I swiped the Bingo dabbers on this IC.  The colors didn't turn out to do either.  The IC sat for several days until I found images I thought were acceptable for it.

"Caged Wine"  (July 14, 2016)   Leftover birdcage diecut my friend Kathy gave me was paired with various scraps, three punched birds, and a wine card all sewn to the IC.

"Pear Study"  (July 15, 2016)  I read somewhere that pears are the easiest fruit to draw after the apple.  So, I tried to draw a pear, even though it took two tries and I never did get a good one.   But at least I tried, and it was a very different IC than I'd made in the past.

"Happy Birthday Squiggles"  (July 16, 2016)  Let's put on our party hats, invite the neighbors, pass out cat treats, and send every party participant home with catnip.  But first, we'll sing happy birthday to our beloved Squiggles.

"Not the three R's you learned in school"  (July 17, 2016)   I had all these rusty Rs left over from a swap, so put them to good use here.

I hope you enjoyed these latest ICADs, because I'm not on any other social media site where other participants show theirs.  Thanks for joining me.  Your visits mean so very, very much to me.

What great ideas. I particularly like the first one with the paint chips and beautiful floral background.

I always enjoy your ICADS. You get these interesting themes and such clever ways to show them. You get right to the point, which I always enjoy. I bet Squiggles enjoyed that card. And I also like the pear study. Its very personalized which is something I also love. Perfect. Nice work again. I hope you're having a good weekend and its not as hot as it is here. Summer is here. Hugs-Erika

Happy Birthday Squiggles from me and Meg. A party for the cats sounds like good fun.
Your weeks ICADs are all fantastic and some make me smile, like the idea of caging the wine.

Oh what fun cards Elizabeth. Last year one of the participants did a pear every day. You should have seen what she achieved after 61 of them. I think you have the basic shape down. Love the caged wine card. Of course there are birds on it! I also liked your use of paint chips, and another great single staple piece. Your stitched rusty Rs are fun and of course happy birthday Squiggles.

Your Icads are great. I think I must have missed some so will go back for a look.
Birds out of the cage but wine in, there's a first. I like the arrangement on this Icad, quite a satisying one.
And I'm always pleased when Sqiggles gets a mention. Happy Birthday Year, Sqiggles., you don't know me but I'm a fan of yours.

Very sorry, Squiggles, for spelling your name wrongly and I did it twice. Of course I know how to spell "Squiggles", no idea where the two "u's" went to.
