T Stands For Feeling the LOVE

I was almost late getting this post in under the wire.  I was busy photographing gifts I received since we last visited, and nearly let the time get away from me.

I haven't even had time to sit for cheesecake and oolong tea.

My candle has been lit for nearly half an hour, but it's barely burning.

I'll drink my tea right after I share the LOVE I've gotten this week.

First up was a gift I received last week from Linda at Heartfully Inspired.   I was impressed even before I opened the beautiful package.   Linda made true mail art and covered the envelope with wonderful REAL postage stamps.

Of course, the little owl tag that showed lots of love was a hoot.  Sorry, couldn't help the pun.  I was especially pleased to see Linda also used her sewing machine, along with many other techniques she incorporated to create this.

I'm really ready to sit down with Linda and share some tea, too.  It's been a stressful week, so this wonderful card made it all worthwhile.  Look at the detail and rich layers she created.

Of course, as if that was not enough (and believe me, the tag and card were totally enough) Linda included some wonderful supplies I know I will be putting to use in the not too distant future.

Look how thick the bag was.  Many, many more goodies than you got to see when you first viewed the package, that's for sure.  Linda, you have NO idea how grateful I am.

Next came two gifts that arrived about an hour before I started this post.  The postcard in the back came from my dear friend Patty who you'll find at Magpie's Nest.  In front is a card and gift from Sam (or Hetti) at Hetticraft.  You're not imagining the gift.

It's an adorable little teeny tiny rocking horse

and was tucked inside this incredible card.  I am in awe of how she made this look like chalkboard.  Thank you beyond belief, Sam for the lovely rocker and the gorgeous card.

Last, but certainly not least, was Patty's gorgeous postcard.  True mixed media beauty, this incorporated doilies, corrugated cardboard, scrapbook paper, and doodles over blue and white paint.  My photo certainly doesn't do it justice.  Patty, you always outdo me, no matter how often I send you something.  You are incredible.

Now it's your turn to share your DRINK related post.  Please link any post below that involves some form of drink.   That drink could be made from art, sketched, digital, hybrid, or traditional.  It can be a time when you were out and about, or a drink you had at home.  It could be in the form of a book you read, a postcard OR GIFT you received, scrapbook page you created, or a movie you watched.   It doesn't matter as long as you can, in some way, tie it back to a drink.  After linking your post below, Bleubeard (Squiggles seems to be hiding), the T gang, and I will be by to visit and enjoy whatever you choose to share.  And remember, as Bleubeard would say, your photos may be taken any time, not just on Tuesday.

OOOOlala! look at all those goodies! Can't beat great friends...eh?
I didn't have a fork or there would be a bite missing from your cheese cake......it's just not nice to use someone else fork before they do....LOL

Looking forward to see all those goodies come to life in your art.

By the way, thank you for all the comments you have left me. I'm not on the PC as much as I used to be..........spring fever keeps drawing me outside.....sometimes just to stand in the rain (guess I should learn to dance in the rain)

Happy T-day

Fun to see all of the special goodies that arrived in your mailbox.
Your cheesecake looks tempting E.
Candles that won't burn are so annoying aren't they.
Happy T Day

p.s. I mailed that postcard to you on the 9th...fourteen days is a long trip for one little postcard. I did wonder if I should have put it in an envelope but thought I'd give it a whirl without one. Happy it finally made it to you.

Oh Elizabeth! what lovely presents! Doesn't it feel good to be loved!
Anything handmade is precious but I really like the mail art. The stamps are to die for and did you notice the coffee can on the stamp that I blogged about months ago?
Patty's card is gorgeous, I agree. I could not see the tiny rocking horse, will you show us soon?
Have a good week. I have a busy but good day ahead of me. (We're going shopping and then out for a meal, and when I come back I go to my embroidery class, so I won't be home until 7 pm).
Happy T-day,
Blessings,
Lisca

So glad you have enjoyed my surprise pkg. Elizabeth. Patty's card is gorgeous and how thoughtful of Sam too to send such a lovely card and that little rocking horse! Your cheesecake looks yummy! I had a bite of coconut cheesecake when we were out for dinner recently and it was sooo good. It's annoying when a candle doesn't light and burn properly-it's happened to me a few times. It 's a pretty candle nonetheless. Happy T day and enjoy!

You do set a tempting place--that oolong looks tasty & I know that cheesecake would not last long in my house!

Didn't get a chance to write something this week, but wanted to stop by and say hello.

Cheesecake is one of my favorites, and I'm thinking it'd go great with my coffee for breakfast this morning ;)

What thoughtful gifts!

What wonderful gifts. They're the kind you can just sit and gaze at... and then use so many in your own projects. How exciting. That tiny rocking horse is quite a surprise. And even though your candle wasn't burning properly, it almost looks as edible as the cheesecake!

Wow...super duper Love you received! what a delight to see that you are being appreciated. What fun it must have been to open the packages and see each new surprise. And that cheesecake looks pretty good too...Happy T Day dear friend. I am linking up pretty late in the day as I had a busy morning out and about, but did eventually realize it's Tuesday and time for a blog post! some of these images are the ones I tried to post while on vacation, but just didn't manage the technology correctly. I appreciated your letting me know about it too. Had a wonderful time, and thankful I didn't come home to two feet of snow.(as we have in some years)
The warm weather we're having now gives me hope for Spring! ♥

Wow that cheesecake looks scrummy. You have been a lucky girl this week Elizabeth. It was my pleasure to send you this little rocking horse. I saw it at the Christmas Market in Prague and knew I had to buy it. They only had one or else I would have bought one for myself too!!
