Well dressed snow people as judged by the fashion police

I'm once again joining Art Journal Journey where our host Chrissie chose "Winter Wonderland" as the theme for January.  I confess this is probably my least favorite spread I've made this month, but I didn't have anything else to share, so had to use it.

This is actually a three page spread, with the first two shown here.  Originally I had intended to fussy cut around each of the snow people, then realized it would probably take nearly two days because I'd have to let my hand that grips my scissors rest between images.

As you can see, these are well dressed snow people

as determined

Fashion Police

Judges.

Actually, the judges

are very well dressed fashion police.

Materials used included left over wrapping paper (snow people), a Christmas thank you card, plastic snow flakes, corrugated cardboard, a scrunched napkin that was supposed to imitate snow, and a Zig ink pen.

Thanks for joining me today, where I'm joining some really talented artists at Art Journal Journey.  Perhaps I'll see you there, too.

I can't imagine why you say this is your least favourite spread - it has made me grin so much - I love your fashionable snowmen and the judges!! I hope your hands aren't too bad with all this cutting out! Hope the weather is being kind to you, Hugs, Chrisx

Fun snow people. I like your page. I think these snow people certainly have some wonderful winter fashions to show. I don't see how the judges or even the fashion police could find fault with their scarves and hats and winter get ups.Its a good way to use up cards also. So if you happen to be reading this while the football game is on, send the Pats some luck, because right now those Broncos are playing too good and making the Pats work hard for every yard. If I could mail you that cake without it turning into crumbs or a rock I would. Have a great end to your weekend!

Fun and whimsical! The judges are certainly well qualified to make the picks as they are real fashion plates themselves.

It may be your least favorite page but I think it's cute. I like all your best-dressed snow people...and the judges look good, too.

What a fun set of pages, love the snowmen all dressed up in their best gear. Hope the judges didn't squabble over who looked the best.

Unlike you I really love your three pages .. whimsical and super funny ... I love your ideas Elizabeth! The judges are so cool!!!Lovely materials used! I hope it wasn't a too energy-sapping work to cut all out .... this is not my favourite part of crafting as well - boring to cut something out even my fingers are sane!
I think you are a perfect mind reader - since Val and I yesterday discussed to do a bird challenge after the 99 faces!LOL!!!

Art Journal Joureny loves your SNOW PEAOPLE fashion event! GREAT!

Great well-dressed competition with the snowmen in different imaginative outfits and the judges laughing their heads off. What a fun entry for AJJ.

Your pages are really fun E!
Tickles me to think of Snow people fashion police ;-)
As much as I enjoy cutting I would not have attempted it either.
You did good!
