Dear Santa

Today, since Journal 52 still has no Week 51 prompt, I'm joining Valerie the host this month at Art Journal Journey.  Valerie asked for collage with journaling.   I'm also joining Moo-Mania and More where the theme is Christmas.  This looks fairly Christmas-y to me.

I admit it's not a lot of journaling, but it's still words on the page.  So, I give you Dear Santa.

I adore the napkin Valerie sent that puts me in the Christmas spirit and uses a few leftovers from another project.

I created this spread in my Coll-AH-ge Too altered book that I started a mere two weeks ago and can't seem able to put down.  That may be partly due to Art Journal Journey's prompt this month.

Materials used include part of a napkin, two stamped images/words, two strips of printer paper that were left when my printer printed an alignment page with my new ink, and a piece of (shimmer) misted book page.

Thanks for visiting.  Your visit means the world to me.  And please don't forget to visit  Moo-Mania and More and Art Journal Journey to see some fabulous mixed media art and journaling.

A lovely collaged page is this - that brings christmas joy to my heart.
Santa dares to be foolish for sure, otherwise he won't have such a big heart for all of us !Hope you feel good Elizabeth and thank you very much for joining us at Art Journal Journey and also at Moo Mania & More!
I am out to eat for lunch today but as always I will not dare to take photos in the restaurant I fear. I will see if I am brave enough to take photos this time---lol.

Love the Santa page! I feel like I am sponging on everybody else´s Christmas spirit, as I have precious little of it myself. This is a very good injection this morning! :-)

How fun! That Santa looks more playful than the traditional view but I like that about him. Your make mad m chuckle. Isn't that is what Christmas is suppose to be about?
