Running the clock back

I want to begin by thanking those of you who visited and left kind comments, even when I was not available to return the visit.  The truth is, this was not a pleasure trip, but one that was made to help a very sick friend who has no internet.

I made this spread right before I left, but realized I couldn't schedule it because it's for Art Journal Journey's August Time Challenge and I would have no way to add my link.

This poor guy is running for his life

Caught in the cogs (gears) of time,

he is trying to turn back the hands of time.

Materials used were my experimental altered book as my substrate, painted paper, found words, and images from two different magazines.  Looks like I'm just barely beating the clock myself, as I'm nearly out of time for this month's challenge.

Please visit Art Journal Journey for even more timely art and thanks for looking.

Your page is beautiful and I love the images you have used. Glad you are back again. I think we all have this problem of trying to race the clock; in my life, the clock mostly wins! Have a great day, and thanks for joining us at Art Journal Journey again, much appreciated. Hugs, Valerie

Great page for the Time theme. Do we all wish we could turn back time once in a while?

Sorry to hear about your friend, and I hope things are much better now.

Super time collage E!
It really depicts the race against time and wouldn't we all just like to turn back time now and again.

Hope your friend is doing better.
