ICADs June 27 to July 3 and my completed June and ready-to-write-in July calendar

I really hate to combine challenges, but sometimes I have to, mainly because, although I've had my calendar pages finished since the 1st, I haven't found time to show them on my blog.  The other reason I am combining these two challenges is because neither of these have links for me to use.

I'll begin with my calendar pages.

It's been a busy month for me, so my decorations are a bit lame.

I hope to do better this month, though.

And even though Kate at The Kathryn Wheel is no longer offering links on her blog, I'm still playing after 4 1/2 years.

Now I'll turn my attention to ICADs for June 27-July 3.

I enjoy finding images and quotes (from a book of quotes I found in a pile headed to the dump) that I can match up.  This one was perfect for the image, even though I had to color it a bit.

What do you do when you want to use some stickers, but there are no more in the letters you need?  Possibly you cut around the outline of where the sticker had been before, attach it, and use a pen to fill in the rest of the image.  This really WAS a red letter day.  For the background, I combined my handmade mists I mixed with a touch of red bingo dabber ink.  I will definitely try that again!

For Day 29, I decided to circle the wagons with my kokopelli stamp.  I stamped, sprayed, stapled, and sewed some leftover scraps to the  IC.

I definitely tried to pull everything together this last day of June.  I had to staple the words to the spray misted scrap so I would have an idea where to stamp the images.  When I had finished, I sewed the assembly to the the IC.  I'm simply thrilled I have found ways to avoid glue for an entire month.  It was a challenge at first, but now I'm seeing things in a new light.  Of course, I've changed thread about a 100 times since I started this project (JOKE).

You saw this entry when I honored Canada Day on July 1.  The difference is, I watermarked that image, but didn't on the ones I use for ICADs.  I  figure if someone wants to steal it, they are welcome to it, because Bleubeard and I are named on every card, which is marking enough for me!

I paid homage to Elizabeth of York who was married to Henry VII on July 2.

I shot an arrow into the air.  It fell to earth . . . .    I couldn't find a good way to explain the arrow in the heart, so I'll let you use your imagination on this one.

Again, I appreciate your visits.  I'm always thrilled when you find time to let me know you dropped by.

I thought you might want a recap of the month of June.  It will save time (for me, at least) when I do a recap at the end.  Feel free to enlarge this.

I know most of my regular readers and followers know by now, but I'll reiterate that I'm not using prompts from Daisy Yellow this year.  The same as with my calendar pages, there's no way to link these ICADs, so I'm left out in the cold due to the fact I'm strictly a blogger and not on any other social media site. Instead of the prompts, I'm using sewing, staples, stamps, and sprays (paints, mists, etc) on scraps.  No glue is allowed on these ICADs.

I can't say this enough.  Thank you, thank you, thank you for your kind words and visits.

Love your ICADs. It makes sense to me to combine challenges. How else can you fit everything into your limited time.

It's a shame the blog post can't be linked. I wonder why they've moved the challenge in that direction.

I'm impressed that you can keep up with a card a day. I schedule a blog post every day, but doing an art project every single day seems like quite the challenge.
