ICADs for July 18 through July 24

I finished early this week, so wanted to get these posted now that I've scanned them.  Once again I'm dipping into my scrap basket that is now overflowing after the massive purge a few weeks ago.

Four more scraps were used to create this one-staple entry for Day 48.  A play on "are we there yet?" was used as the sentiment.

Believe it or not, this is a piece of heavy felt I found in my scrap basket.  I decided to SEW, which is hard since I have no way to drop my feed dogs.

Left over after I completed my Hands AB, the main scrap for Day 50 was printed on shaving cream paper.  Other scraps were added to the single staple, including a part of an old sticker.

I not only stapled this piece of envelope that had been damaged by the USPS, but I also sewed two pieces of an old letter from my scrap basket.

These were left over from an old envelope and I tore the ice cream cones apart and sewed them to the Day 52 IC.  I mounted them on a card I spritzed with some of my handmade shimmering mists.

I love hearts, and it occurred to me I had not used many this year.  I began by sewing a word to a piece of scrap book page, then cut three hearts for Day 53's card.  I added a star sticker left over from Christmas one year to one of the hearts and sewed ribbon to another.  Then I stapled everything together using a single staple.

Scraps left over from SOC colors and pulled from my scrap basket became Day 54's entry.  Looks like Bleubeard and I forgot to add our names, though.

At the risk of repeating myself, I'll reiterate that I'm not using prompts from Daisy Yellow this year.  Since there's no way to link these ICADs, and since I'm strictly a blogger and not on any other social media site, the only place you will see these ICADs is here on my blog.  Instead of the prompts, I'm using sewing, staples, stamps, and sprays (paints, mists, etc) on scraps.  No glue is used on these ICADs.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for taking time to see these ICs and thanks, too for leaving such encouraging comments.  They mean the world to me.

You are such an inspiration. I have been in a slump for a couple of months and now you have given me several great ideas. Sometimes the small things have the spark Going to my desk right now.

Your index cards are, once more, very interesting and most definitely inspirational. I always enjoy seeing what you've used and how you used it.
I am slowly catching up with what I missed whilst away in London. I wasn't cut off from the internet, I just didn't have the tie for it. Wee Man had a fantastic birthday and we both enjoyed the time away VERY much. :D
