Friday Smiles 126

Bleubeard and I are joining Annie at A Stitch In Time for Friday Smiles # 126.  How time flies!

I thought Annie, who has spent a good portion of her life caring for not only her own three, as well as 5 grandees, but also a multitude of others' children, might enjoy this page I found in a book I'm perusing.  Of course, I know there are others, unlike myself, who have children or grandchildren, who will also enjoy this.

These are actual comments made by children ages 5-10.  I simply scanned the page to save on time.

I call this one "Out of the mouths of babes."

I hope some of these put a smile on your face, because they sure did mine!  Now please head over to Annie's where there's guaranteed to be a few smiles.  You might want to join in too, because I know she'll make you feel as welcome as she has me.  And it's always fun to start the weekend with a smile.

Good morning Elizabeth [and bleubeard of course miaow],
What a beautiful post. You make me feel so special and yes that page has got me giggling. I ought to write down some of the things the grandees say cos there is never a day go by that they don't get me chuckling.
Have a great weekend my special friend,
Hugs,
Annie x

Happy Friday Elizabeth... ha ha of yes, kids listen to everything, and quite often repeat it pity they don't learn from actions... my teenagers had op shop bedrooms, stuff everywhere, now I see they care a bit more in their homes. AND I am not looking forward to packing my craft room - so just little bits at a time I'm thinking. Enjoy your weekend Robyn hugs

That was great! Kids telling it like it is. Lynette is right, single women live longer, being, no doubt, less stressed, while for a man, being married is the key to longevity. :-D
