What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #310: the one where she has art on her desk

I'm joining Julia, Queen of the Deskers at Stamping Ground for Week 310 of WOYWW.

It's been awhile since I felt strong enough to play in WOYWW.  After all, if I can't reciprocate, why would I play?  It was late afternoon when I took this photo of both my worktable and part of my craft space.  My heater has been put away for the year, but I've got some sorting to do, especially in the area where WOYWWendy hangs out.

I'm getting ready to enjoy my new scrappy journal gifted me by Nancy at Quilting Potpourri.  Also on my table are what's left of my ATCs for the swap.  Of course, I know you really came to see the rocking horses.

Small, but mighty, and much loved, one is forged metal and the other is a pin.

If you are coming from Julia's please leave your number so I can find you easily.  I'll be out and about Wednesday morning my time (afternoon across the pond), but I'll be by to visit after that.  And before you ask, I am feeling MUCH better.  I've even stopped coughing and am gaining more and more strength every day.

Love your desk shot, especially the hanging line - what a fabulous idea! Now what are those tiny clothes that appear to be on coat hangers? How did you get hangers so small? They look terrific!
Thanks for sharing.
Hugs, to you and to Bleubeard, hope he is ok.

So glad you are feeling more the thing... LOL... a typically old fashioned British saying! Save me one of your ATC's for the anniversary, I will be making mine shortly... well, tomorrow perhaps... Love all your dresses hanging across the room, they look fabulous! Annette

Awww love the horses.
I also love the little outfits you have hanging up there.
Can I ask what are they ?
Is it actually clothing or are they made from paper ? #31

I thought of you a few weeks ago when we went to a little business that deal in wooden rocking horses. What an array of beautiful and not so beautiful horses - some were in need of restoration. You have a great work space - hope you are well enough to enjoy a bit of crafting. x Jo

Glad to hear you are feeling stronger - and nice that the heater is away and warmer weather is here. I love your work area - so much space and such great storage - I think I have studio envy! Love the quilted journal too - sometimes I find it hard to start work in precious books as they look too good to use!
Hope you have a good week,

Hooray for lots of things today - you getting better, the weather getting warmer, the return of WOYWWendy and, of course, the rocking horses :-) Lovely to see you back on the desks....I've been doing very little blogging apart from WOYWW, as its been a rather topsy turvy start to the year for me. However, we are getting there now and our glorious Spring has meant lots of time in the garden. That makes me happy :-)

Haven't been about much lately so sorry to hear you have been poorly - I have done remarkably well this winter despite everyone's best efforts to pass on their germs! I love the little dresses hanging up - I'm guessing they are paper? And very appropriate because Alexander McQueen was a British dress designer, sadly no longer with us. His designs were totally mad at times (well aren't they all?) but strangely beautiful. My daughter is a real fashionista and works in fashion retail so she was entranced, it was a real joy to visit the exhibition together. I will surely grab an ATC on Saturday (thank you for thinking of me) and send one in return. Keep well, Happy WOYWW Cindy x

Many thanks for your comments on my posts and Wee Man's of course. I was going to email you a photo of him with his moustache, but then remembered your email doesn't work. Shame. Have a great weekend ahead Elizabeth. {{Hugs}}

Hey I understand where you are coming from with the not being able to return the visits so why join in, this is exactly why I have not been around for quite a few weeks, due to work. I have so missed everyone's desk too. Love the look of your new journal and especially love seeing the rocking horse's.

I'm glad you are on the mend, but dang that sounds like a tough bug you caught. The red rocking horse is adorable. I'd totally enjoy an adult size version in the backyard though it might alarm the neighbors lol.

Love the crafty space, it looks like Wendy has hung her wardrobe on the wall lol. It's so good to see her again : D. And oh my that journal!! Gorgeous. Thanks for visiting my blog earlier in the week. #58
