Second on the 2nd

Today, in honor of Cinco de Mayo, as well as my friend Halle's birthday, I'm bringing back a post I created on May 5, 2009.

Cinco de Mayo

Happy Cinco de Mayo.

Now it's time to share your Second on the 2nd.  The rules are simple.  Share a post that you are particularly proud of, OR that you showed before anyone knew your blog existed.  Any post is acceptable, but you must link below so we can visit and enjoy this treasure you've dug up from the past.  Be aware, the link is only good for five days, so it's best to show your post and link on the 2nd.  Feel free to invite your friend and followers to this fun, once monthly event, too.

Oh my dear Elizabeth! Hope you are getting better! Could only read your last post-pics wouldn't load so will comment when I get back! What a dreadful time you had! Yes, had guessed something was not right!! Love your colourful mail art! I'm afraid I may have messed up the link for folk to access your blog from mine-will try to fix it!! Meanwhile, take good care of yourself! Big hugs, Chrisx

Thank you for linking me up while I was out partying with my GD.

Cinco De Mayo is such a colorful event, and like Nan.......the food is always great too. Your post card is a perfect reflection of the holiday.
