T Stands for not quite 7 day tea

I had initially planned to make this a 7 day event, as I promised last T Tuesday, but real life got in the way.

I started by showing my supplies above.  My white cup and saucer, a sheet of watercolor paper, and a container filled with various teas I will consider using.

When I uploaded this to my blog, I noticed the corn flakes box on the steps heading to my office.  I was given this and another box so I can turn them into an art project for Christmas.  I was planning to take them to the basement, but again, life got in the way.  Maybe next week, or the day before Christmas.  Who knows at this point.

I had planned to show the back of each tea bag holder, then the front, then the tea bag sitting on the watercolor paper.  Somewhere along the way, I must not have done that on the first day.  The tea is English Breakfast.  I've had it before and I really like it.

This tea is from the Cadillac Coffee Company and is a black tea.  This is a strong black tea, and I could drink this all day long.  I have no idea where I got this, but it was wonderful.  Wish I had more of these.

It was at this point, I decided to find a place for my used tea bag holders, because I plan to use them and my tape transfers in my Tea Tributes.

For Day 3, I opened a box of Jasmine tea I got at the Asian Market.  Even though this was a light tea, it was full bodied, and I enjoyed the taste a lot.

On Day 4, I chose Twinings Earl Grey.  Now I normally like Earl Grey tea, but this tea was so foul tasting to me, I couldn't finish it all.  Sad, but true.

It's a good thing I had saved my favorite teas till the last.  My dear friend Voodoo Vixen (Annette) sent these last two teas to me when she lived in Canada.  I save them for special occasions, because I simply LOVE the taste of hibiscus tea.  I spilled some of this gorgeous tea, and mopped it up with a couple of book pages.  Nothing, not even spilt tea, goes to waste at my place.

This is the other brand of hibiscus tea Annette sent me.  Again, I simply LOVE these two teas.  And the colors they exude are wonderful, too.

And for those of you who are thinking my camera took a turn for the worse, it's only because the web site I used, Big Huge Labs, creates the collaged photos in low res, unless you pay for a membership.

I had planned to have seven days of tea drinking, but just couldn't find the time to do that today.  Today, I spent an inordinate amount of time showing these photos in a way that wouldn't bore you to tears.

Bleubeard admits he is never bored when it comes to T Stands For Tuesday posts.  He loves it when you think outside the box, create something totally unique, or something tried and true.  He thinks it's all fair game, as long as it involves, in some way, a drink.  Any drink, any day, any theme.  But you must link below so he and I can come visit.  Thanks for playing along, and I'll show what I plan to do with these tea bags, tea bag holders, and tea stained watercolor paper soon.

Hello and Happy T Day! I love seeing you use teas in your projects, can't wait to see more of this later. The collages are nice, not boring at all.

I'm linked up and sharing Thanksgiving. Hoping to make the rounds to visit tomorrow, it's a babysitting day so might be later before I get on computer.

Have a great Tuesday!

Looking forward to the results and what you make with them.

Yes, I did change my blog background, and no it's not anywhere in CA. Just one I found while playing around, looking for something a little more seasonable.

Thanks you for the comment on my J52 page, and I'm glad we will both continue into next year (already so close)

Tell Bluebeard to pull up a pillow, there are a lot of pictures on my blog again this week. I'm sure he will enjoy the kids......
Happy T-day

I am glad I made it here to at least say hi today. It seems like life is always interfering here in one way or another, too. I have one more craft fair this Saturday and then I hope to be back on track!

I have never enjoyed any of the "grey" teas, i.e. Earl or Lady, and wonder if it is the brand. One of these days I'll try another to see. I bet you will have a beautiful piece of WC paper when those bags dry!

Happy T day and Happy Thanksgiving a bit late! It's been busy around here so I haven't been checking in with blogs much.
Love the beautiful colors those teas make. I'll have to try hibiscus tea sometime.

Oh I love English Breakfast tea. It's been awhile since I've had any. It was my fave drink at a cute little coffee cafe in MD. Have to find a new cafe in my new city, Daytona Beach. I'm intrigued wondering what you'll make with your tea bags and wrappers. Hugs to Bleubeard from the Girls and me. And to you. :)
