Journal 52, Week 52: Circle, and a look back at this year

For our final week at Journal 52 we've come full circle.

And that's Chelle's final prompt for 2014, too.

A few detail shots that include the week number,
some drawn
some pasted,

and as many small circles as I could come up with, add up to my take on a

a full circle.

And because I love to recap the work I've done over the year, but showing all at the same time was impossible to achieve in the software program I used, so

these represent Weeks 1 through 28,

and these are Weeks 29 through 52.  Feel free to enlarge to see the details.

I've really enjoyed this year's challenge, and I look forward to next Friday when we start 2015's first challenge.  And I especially want to thank Chelle for being such a wonderful and gracious host.  I have truly enjoyed these challenges with Chelle leading the way each week.

Hope to see everyone at J52 in 2015.  And thanks for the great comments you have left over the past 52 weeks.  They have ALWAYS been and will continue to be appreciated.

I want to apologize for not visiting those of you who drop by every day to send me thoughts of kindness during my illness.  I hope to get better soon, but as things stand right now, I'm not making much headway.

Of course, even worse than my being ill, is what Google wants to put you through to leave me a comment.  Just remember, you don't need to prove you're not a robot, just press publish and your comment will magically appear as it always has in the past.

you've done a remarkable job keeping up with these challenges! Love the digital collages...and the last 'circle' entry. Circles make me think of bubbles or polka dots...either way, I love 'em! Feel better soon dear...♥

Hello! So sorry to hear your not feeling better yet. Hope you start getting better very soon!!

I love the circles, always a favorite. Great for the last prompt too. This year has flown by. Each one looks great and fun, way to go on them and keeping up.

My nieces got the flu Christmas eve in the night, poor girls. They slept most of Christmas day and didn't want to open their presents. Slowly they are getting better.
I'm excited for the new year and new art from you. Do you have a word yet? Not sure if I've shared mine on the blog but it's "delight" and I'm happy about it.
Take care dear friend, hugs and love for you. Stay warm too and cozy too.

A year of amazing art, Elizabeth! What a great journal these will make. Snuggle in, hunker down...these bugs seem to take forever to fly away. I'm still coughing with the remnants of the one I caught. Warm hugs always from us Girls. Best wishes to you and Bleubeard for a wonder filled New Year.

Circles were a good last prompt since they can signify not only the end, but the beginning, too!

I enjoyed seeing all your work in these collages! Each one is bursting with color and creativity.

Hope the bug or whatever decides to leave you soon!

So sorry to hear that you are still not feeling well :(
This is a good last prompt, and thought the same thing you did "full circle". I have mine started, had to let the modeling paste dry and it is still laying there...LOL, and I haven't posted last weeks (51) yet. So I'll probably just do a two-for post and recap like you did.

It is interesting to look back and see the art you created over the year. Which is your favorite?

Today is the day our family, or part of it, are getting together to open gifts. Youngest son and family just couldn't make it after all. That is how it goes, at times, when you have your own business. He unfortunately had to fire an employee for stealing, last week, and he was counting on that guy to fill in so they could come this way. At least it's not because the kids are sick.

Sure hope you get to feeling better before the new year sets in. At least Bluebeard is getting some extra cuddling time with mama.

You really have gone 'full circle' and I really am so impressed - I am so weak willed at completing things! (Huh! It's just occurred to me that I didn't even post Decembers 365 calendar journal) I love this page with all it's circles. Looking at your recap of pages is just fantastic - such a fantastic record of different styles! Hope you are feeling much better, Chrisxx
