A look back at 2014

As I do every year, I'm looking back at the best moments of 2014.  I usually do this review on the 31st, but I'm hoping to post my calendar that day.

January

I started working in my 7 Continents Altered Book again in January.

February

February brought lots of snow, cold, and a broken transformer that kept my electricity off for over a day.

March

In March, I was sent a box of Sculpey products and created a tutorial for their web site, as well as Totally Tutorials.

April

April was all about recycling, and while I can swoon over my clean work table, I was also proud of this assemblage I called "Mother and Child Reunion."

May

May brought rain to my flower bed and veggie garden.

June

June was all about Summer of Color (top image) and ICADs (bottom image).

July

Again, July was mostly all about Summer of Color and ICADs.

August

In August I headed south of the equator down Argentina way.  Of course, I did it in my 7 Continents Altered Book.

September

For all 30 days in September, I created an abstract painting a day.  I also joined the gals at The Mirror Crack'd with this quiltlet I called "Not Your Grandmother's Quilt."

October

Much of October, I showed the two museums Kathy, Sally, and I visited during Smithsonian's Museum Day, which actually occurred in September.  So, the next best thing is the Safe Communities event I hosted on October 7.

November

Of course, I made up for it in November when I created art every day during AEDM, including my Eco-Dyed fabric.

December

Please don't forget that you got to meet Squiggles in December,  who I consider a true Christmas gift all around.  Squiggles got a forever home, Bleubeard got his "spare," and we both got this adorable and inquisitive ball of fun and fur.

I hope you enjoyed this look back at 2014 and some of the things I shared on my blog this year.

Of course, your comments are what REALLY keep me going.  They make it all worthwhile.  And that is the best thing that could ever happen to me.

Speaking of comments, you only have to leave one, then hit "publish."  Ignore the added steps Google wants to put you through.

It's fun to look back and see what you've done over the course of a year. I find things I'd forgotten about or things that I didn't realize were so recent. Even more so when I look back I think something happened last year but in reality it was a couple years ago.
Happy New Year!
