Day 3 of 30 paintings in 30 days

I'm hoping to play catch up at Leslie Saeta's Slices of Life 30 paintings in 30 days project.  I've been behind for two days.

Today I'm working in several of the same colors as I worked in for Day 2's entry.  However, I've decided to start naming my paintings, too.  This one I'm calling "In the Womb."

Thanks for visiting and thanks for the encouragement.

When I read the title and then looked at the piece, I could interpret it that way, too. Can't wait for #4!

I'm excited about seeing your series and hearing about the changes you make in technique and equipment. I know it's all too easy to criticize your own work, but I'd put any of these so far on my wall. I'm impressed! :)

I often have a hard time "naming" a piece. I think you picked a good one. Makes me think of a colorful ultrasound image.

Great title for the painting.
See you tomorrow-:)
(Have posted my T post today. Made a mistake and thought today was Tuesday)

so so cool!

Many of the recent 'masters' in the art world use #s because an image is what it is. Sometimes a title may be limiting.

The colours are wonderful Elizabeth, I hope you are happier with this than you were with your day one, one! I've often wondered how an artist comes up with a name for their painting. Particularly abstract pieces. I've never named anything I've made. Not that I can recall anyway, haha. Enjoy your day :D

Hello Elizabeth! YAY for you painting for 30 days!! So excited to see these and you made me very happy by naming them. I LOVE NAMES!! Peeked at all 3 and your doing great and I can't wait to see more!!

Sorry I didn't get to link up yesterday. Never made it to the computer, had a fun family day and night. Meant to post something today too but again too busy and it's so hot so I've been soaking it up while it's here.
Can you believe it's September??!! Really, how the heck did that happen. Thanks so much for your comments and visit. Check back tomorrow or the next day and hopefully I will have a post and a T time one for next week.
Hope you are doing well and enjoy this new challenge.
