Friday Smiles 68: In the Garden

It's the start of another weekend, and time for Friday Smiles, hosted by Annie at A Stitch in Time.  This week it's all about the flower garden.

Just as the tulips are dying in the garden,

the Irises are beginning to bloom.  I'm sure they'll be around for a few days (and smiles) anyway.

Want to see more Friday Smiles?  Then please join Annie and smile all the way through the weekend.

Beautiful colour on your irises. I do love irises. I wanted them in my bouquet but it would have made it look a little patriotic (red and white!).
Happy Friday.

You're going to have some fabulous purple iris! I miss them as they won't grow this far south. Guess they need that cold ground to go fully dormant. Hugs

Irises are one of my faves....we have no tulips yet, but the jonquils have been wonderful and the deer don't eat them. Yay. xox

Hi Elizabeth, your irises are a beautiful colour ... they so remind me of my late mother - irises were her favourite spring flower. They are on my wish list for a border that is planned but not yet dug. Elizabeth xx

Always made me sad when my tulips were done...therefore...I have planted none at this house. :)
I did see tulips in a container today...beautiful planter. I'd never have thought to do that before!!

Beautiful iris!!! Mine are starting to bloom too and I'm very happy ! I'll be posting pictures soon on my garden blog. I'm not getting email notifications on blog post for some reason so I've missed a lot of action. I'm not ignoring you,,,,, just lost in cyber space somewhere and I don't have the technical skills to figure out what's wrong :(

YAY for spring blooms!! It's so awesome to see life again outside, no more snow and cold. I too love seeing my flowers popping up and color everywhere.
