Welcome Spring, if only in my dreams

I created this Spring into Spring spread in my collage inspired altered book to welcome the Spring Solstice, 2014.

From the first floral bud that peeks out of the ground, and the first butterfly

that visits,

to the bright, nearly cloudless skies,

we in the Northern Hemisphere are welcoming the Spring Solstice,

and looking for real signs of spring, if only in our dreams.

Oh; I'm lovin' your Spring art!!! I also had to chuckle at your post title - "if only in my dreams". You got that right! We have slushy sleet, here, this morning - and Noon is supposed to be officially Spring! HA!

Anyway; really enjoyed viewing your Spring pages! Thank you; they are lovely! xo

What a great "Welcome Spring" layout. Love the paper clips for the flower centers.

It made an early appearance here, we're hitting the 80' mark this week. That is 15' over our usual temp.

Here in Virginia our nine inches of St Paddy's Day snow has melted...but they are hinting at the s word again early next week...
March certainly is being fickle!

I'm Loving your springy spring flowers Elizabeth and the cute 3D butterflies. I hope Spring finds it's way to you soon. I thought it had arrived here the past few days, but apparently we're due some snow tonight. Yay (not). Hope my poor Daffodils don't suffer too badly.
Have a fine weekend :o)
