Friday Smiles 59: Modesty

I'm smiling this morning along with Annie at A Stitch in Time.  I didn't play last week because I was running upstairs late last Thursday evening, when Flash, Mr. B., Bleubeard tried to race me to the office door.  However, he and I got tangled up in each other and I fell on top of him.  Both of us limped around for several days as a result of his antics.  It was hard for me to sit comfortably for any length of time, and lying on a comfy bed was my prescription for getting well.  So, today I'm dedicating my Smile to him.

Now if this ad I found in a magazine and added it to my collage altered book, doesn't put a smile on your face, I don't know what will.  When I first saw this, I busted out laughing.  Even my sore hip and leg quit hurting for awhile.

To add insult to injury (Bleubeard's, not mine), I added a large sort-of-pinkish collar to the modest cat in the photo and

called the piece "Modesty."  I hope you smile like I did when I saw it.  And don't forget to join Annie at A Stitch in Time for more smiles as we head into the weekend.

Oh, so cute. I love love this. HE looks like bleubeard as a young chick. Thanks for the comments on my blog. Sometimes I beat myself up that I never get anything done, so the display might help me remember that I do!

Oh Elizabeth that pic is soooo funny. I can well imagine Bleubeard isn't so amused though :-) Really hope you're now well recovered from your fall [both of you]. More water with it next time please!!
Hugs,

Oh that made me laugh Elizabeth, what a right pair you are falling over each other. Glad no real harm was done though. I have 5 cats and am always cautious in case they trip us up.
Have a great week, accident free and give Bleubeard a chin tickle from me.

Hello and thank you for this Friday smile!! I see this image in my magazines all the time so how funny to see it pop up here. I love that you dressed Bluebeard up and the added words are perfect!! So funny!!

How awful for you both falling, glad nothing serious happened to either of you. I've tripped over our cat and dog many times, it's not fun and does hurt. Now I know why last weekend wasn't a good one for you. Wishing you a better and less painful weekend.

LOVE LOVE the pages below, you are so good at this collaging and making it all flow together wonderfully. The basketballs you made are awesome, couldn't believe you made them. Well done on finishing this journal.

Thanks for the Friday smile! HUGS!

That is brilliant work! hilarious
we have lots of animals in this house and someone is always tripping or falling over one of them. It is a true hazard around here so I feel you completely.
