Friday Smiles 52: A bearded smile

There's not much to smile about at my place this week, since my plan to take my neighbor to lunch fell through, my plan to play with my new Gelli plate didn't materialize, and I can't make the rechargeable batteries work in my new camera, which means I'm stuck with this old one which is quite pitiful.  But it's far warmer than it was last week at this time, and I'm here joining Annie at A Stitch in Time for Friday Smiles, with the one good thing I can smile about this week.

As anyone can tell, the most important thing I have to smile about today is Bleubeard, because for once he actually allowed me to photograph him in his favorite position.  Not sure this will put a smile on anyone else's face, but it has on mine at least.  Can you see the slight beard he has when he faces the camera head on?  Now if only I'd had a better camera to take his photo with.

Please join Annie because she has the links to other smiles which will start your weekend in a positively good mood.

Sweet baby...how nice that he posed for you! Sounds like you've had a rough week - hope it improves soon!

Oh my isn't Bleubeard looking all Mr. Non-Chalance. :) Ooooo he has a goatee! T will be drooling. :)) FYI...some cameras won't work with the rechargeable batteries. The batts don't seem to have enough of a charge. I have a couple of electronics I can't use them in.

Bleubeard made me smile today, too! I love a man with a beard! :)

My head is much better-still hurting, but not blood red anymore. Thanks for the freezer lesson (smile); one should also not put round, heavy packages on the top shelf!

Hi Elizabeth,

Nice photo of Bluebeard - and yes, I do see that little beard he has going on!

Drats on the batteries and your other plans falling through. Some days it's just that way, isn't it.

I have a dog that is camera shy - even when I point my smart phone in her direction she runs and hides.

Hugs,
Kay

You and Bluebeard have made me smile today.....thank you.

Had to laugh at him with his legs crosses, my dog always does the same thing. He really is a beautiful cat, don't repeat that or his collar won't fit ...LOL

Thanks for the comment on my journal page......your very kind!
