WOYWW 235: the one where she starts thinking about Christmas

I'm once again joining a bevy of other Deskers showing off their messes, projects, or maybe even new toys or techniques.   All this is under the watchful guidance of our beloved Julia at Stamping Ground. Just click on her name and you'll be magically taken to her site.
After spending an entire month linking to "Art Every Day Month" (AEDM), I was ready to get serious about Christmas.  I even got out a Christmas rocking horse.
On my very dirty looking grungy work table are some papers I've just colored and allowed to dry.  I've picked them up and they'll be ready to turn into cards and tip-ins shortly.
I realize the reason some of you dropped by was to see the latest rocking horse, so here's another one, this time in a frame.
Now it's time to get to work, or Christmas is going to pass me by.

If you're playing in WOYWW with Julia, please leave your number.  I fear I'll never reciprocate if I have to spend time looking for you.

Hello Elizabeth!!! My desk is a total meltdown right now. I said I was going to clean it today but that didn't happen :) and I haven't even thought about decorating yet... do you think anyone will notice if I don't ?

Hi Elizabeth, thank you for starting your cards, you were starting to worry even me. Love the pink paint on the paper, I will have to watch this space and spy on what you are up to.

Love the framed rocking horse! Cool looking stamps you've got out to play with. Love your carefree way of painting papers! I too will keep eye out to see what becomes of them. :) My houses took turn and are now headed in a totally different direction. Had to completely change how they will be displayed. Maybe next week they'll be done. Thanks for the earlier visit! WOYWW hugs! Nan G #13

You are guaranteed a rocking good Christmas with all those RH's around. I'm just not bothering about cards as DH will write and post bought ones for me. Christmas is going to be a relax this year as the family cannot come this time. New baby in Germany will be visiting with the rest of the loved ones in January so I'll have another Christmas dinner to look forward to.
You are looking so organised and really festive and I love that it's recycled too.

Happy to have you back, but AedM was good wasn't it. Loving the pin, on those pages. And after a busy thanksgiving, I'm hoping you've had a bit of rest before dragging out the Christmas mojo!

Hi Elizabeth and Bleubeard and Happy WOYWW!
I am so missing T for Tuesday but just don't have the time at the moment. So I couldn't pass you by without saying Hi, and I love all that I see here, I am so behind on Christmas and I wasn't going to be, but as usual I am! I just hope I don't get a bug now like last year that totally stops me doing a thing!

I LOVE your coloured papers with the printing showing through, Elizabeth, and the dinky little rocking horses - the little Christmas one is so dear. Gorgeous colours on your blog post this time, and lots of activity!

Thanks for your lovely comment - and absolutely no need to apologise for not visiting lately - I know better than most atm the problem of "life getting in the way" - big time, with Dad being so poorly.

So glad you liked my card. With the video, you should be able to click on the Youtube logo and see it there. If not, go to my Youtube channel (Shoshiplatypus) and you will see it in my videos list. Happy viewing!

Blogger can be such a pain sometimes. I'm having problems with not being able to leave comments if I use Firefox, but it works fine in Chrome, so I have both browsers open!

Happy belated WOYWW,

Hi Elizabeth,

Oh, I definitely need to get in the Christmas spirit. Lighting my candles in the evenings has certainly helped. Not to mention dying the red clothes pins!

Your rocking horse on your sewing machine is beautiful. THAT definitely made me think of Christmas.

Thank you for visiting me already!
Happy WOYWW
