Mandala Monday: Down by the seaside

I was going through my seashells when a thought occurred to me.

I might be able to create a seashell mandala for Mandala Monday that Dawn at Girl Unwinding hosts each week.

I realize this doesn't look like a very good mandala, and it's probably my least favorite of all the ones I've created, but

maybe I should have stopped after I got this far. However, I kept going, and was not sure where or when to stop.  As with my previous mandalas, I took a few close-ups.I got a bit carried away there too, and

I had to take one final overall shot.

Don't forget to join Dawn at Girl Unwinding for more beautiful mandalas.

I think it's a lovely mandala, and very creative too! I have shells stored away too...I think they are beautiful all by themselves, but they don't seem quite right displayed year round. a great use for them!

Elizabeth, I'm soooo happy you made one this week. YAY for using your seashells and these cool collages!! I love the mandala and all the different shells in it. The background is a good color for this too.
We will have to be creative and outside the box now that the cooler temps are coming. Thanks for the nice comment on my Mandala, it was a fun one for me.
Thanks for the answer too about November, will go check this out and see about joining you.
Have a great Monday and glad you were here today, see you for T tomorrow! HUGS!

Shell mandalas are some of my favorites. I make them when I go to the beach. They are ticky, I will say that but regardless how much fun did you have flipping through all those shells and loving all those shapes and textures and remembering times by the shore? yeah, that's where the money is.
You have some beautiful shells in your collection. Happy Mandala Monday to you, shell sista!
Peace~
Dawn

What a great way to use those beautiful shells. Our shell collection sits in some glass jars. Your mandala makes me want to get some shells out and play with them.
