What's on your workdesk this 215th Wednesday? (the one where she is actually making something)

This table is a real mess, but Jan of LLJ fame said it looked like (and I quote) "wrinkles on a woman's face...it shows all the history and experiences!! Much better than a neat, clean, Botoxed product...if you know what I mean!!"  I guess I can live with that analogy, since Botox is not something I would ever consider.

Let's get to the table.  I'm working on my Summer of Color book I've created for the final week we meet.  I have just finished putting the finishing touches on the book, which includes various paint chip samples and stickers.  I used my Crop-a-dile to punch the holes the mismatched ribbon went through.

I know!  Less talk, more showing the rocking horse of the week.  Here's a wooden cutie.  I love wood and have lots of wooden horses.

Have a super WOYWW and I'll be by to see you sometime during the week.  I'm going shopping tomorrow (Wednesday in my world), then to lunch with my friend Sally.

LOL! I love your botox desk analogy. I try to clean my desk between projects, but when I'm working it looks like a bomb exploded over it too. By the way, that's a really cute rocking horse. Blessings!

Thank you for the lovely comments. I look forward to seeing what kind of rocking horse you are going to have on your desk. I think your desk looks well loved. I bet you can look at different spots and remember the projects that created them. I'd never do botox either. I hope you have a wonderful week. (((HUGS)))

Hi Elizabeth, and Bleubeard of course, that's a really cute rocking horse on show this week. The wrinkles on your tables face are lovely and Botox wouldn't be my choice either. I don't have a Crop-a-dile, they look like an instrument of torture to me, but despite that I'm sure it's a very useful tool and one I should invest in - one day. Hope you have an enjoyable day. You desk just looks like a busy artist uses it. I'm suspicious of a too clean work space. Really like this particular rocking horse, he looks so sturdy.

I love that analogy too!! And I'd love to see your color book. I started making a color art journal. I gave it a fancy name too! "an expedition into color". I did 4 or 5 colors. Never finished :( But, I have paint chips and stuff left, just waiting for me to finish!!

great idea to make the SOC book, I thought, just for a split second that you'd taken up the scrapbook thing from the sight of the stickers! should have known it was scrapbooking a la style Altered Book!
