WOYWW 212: The one where she has limited motivation

Tonight I'm not going to be late visiting Julia, our wonderful host, like I was last week.  Even though I was late, I was able to visit at least 120 participants, the most I've been able to visit since the list got out of control.

On my work table, in the back are some stamps I think have taken up residency.  I seem to use them, even if I'm not much at stamping.  Right now, I'm making a mess on an index card since I mixed up too much gesso, black paint, and a bit of purple to turn this into a grey mess I started on another project.  You might see this in an ICAD one of these days, or it may make the scrap pile.

Isn't my little rocking horse a cutie?  She (yep, this one is a sweet girl) sits on a window sill in my office.  I love that the wood has been burned, probably with a burning tool.  I assure you, she wasn't hurt in the process, either.

Usual caveat: if visiting from Julia's, please leave your number so I don't miss you.

I am always amazed at the lovely stuff that people make out of the extra paints and stuff when they are crafting. Love your little lady rocking horse, she is a cutie!! Annette without number yet... cos she hasn't even done her blog post!

That looks like a desk ready for action Elizabeth, hope the motivation returns soon. I think what you can see through Julia's window is the conservatory. We buy loose tea in bulk form Mountain Rose Herbs, it's very good.

Saddo that I am I'd be quite happy with 30F! Don't mind the heat, hate the humidity, it's raining with a bit of thunder right now which is just making the whole thing worse.

Hi Elizabeth,
Thanks for dropping by. Glad you like the kookaburra. The song is an old one ... "Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree, Merry, merry king of the bush is he, etc, etc," It was always sung as a round ... many, many years ago!
Have a good week,
Ros

Morning Elizabeth - I schedule my post for midnight so I wasn't up late really, although did toss and turn all night so got up an hour early only to find my husband had left the front door a jar! (he'd changed the outside light bulb!!) Good job no one wants to burgle us eh! I think the SOC colours work better with coloured cardstock as you can't get the mud result as I inked the edges and there was the mud!! Thanks for visiting my desk already BJ#46

I just can't seem to be able to delete Google + from my blog.I will have to try again at some time.Just don't want to spend the time researching how to do that!
Thanks again Elizabeth.Gosh you must be up late to be No 1!!

ah! You're number one! I can't even do that unless I stay up all night! and then only once coz when Julia forgot to add the linky but even then I think it was only for one second! Love the rocking horse, they are easier than real ones (real horses that is, not real rocking horses, although being so small a lot easier to keep! and not mess!) So, next time I call in, I guessing the horsey will be..... grey with a silver mane and tail... or not!

It's how I do it - except with a bigger basket of stamps - the longer they stay there, the more I use them!! (that's my 'not tidying up' excuse!!)
It is indeed our dining room although officially it's a Conservatory because it has a glass roof and the walls are all windows...very popular here as a way to extend small properties without too much building and permissions required, and to harvest whatever heat and light we can!! The bunting is jolly isn't it - it's been up since the Olympics and I can't bring myself to take it down!

Hi Elizabeth,
WOW 120 visits is quite a few. I get to as many as I can before I have to get dressed and get to the Dr. for a back ajustment, then come back and try to do a few more. I have fallen out of the ICAD loop and just haven't had the time to start again. I do hope to get them done for July.

I hope you will get a chance at somepoint to pop over and check out my WOYWW. I am already a loyal follower, and a follower on Linky.
I'm also doing SOC challenge, so I get to see lots of your beautiful work this summer. :) Your blog gave me the courage to make my own altered art journal. Than you. Hope you have a great week.
