It's summer time

I haven't tried my camera's memory card because I've been on the computer for the past two days.  With a very, very slow internet connection, it's hard to get around.  However, this is an art quilt I made last year that I call Sun Feathers.  It is just the thing to welcome summer today.  I'm actually a little late because the official time summer began this year in my time zone was 12:04 am.  So happy SUMMER SOLSTICE wherever you live.

This is gorgeous Elizabeth, so fun and vibrant, brilliant job sweetie. Lol our 'longest day' over here is going to be shorter than expected, very gloomy and overcast, the sun has deserted us boo hoo.

It's a beautiful art quilt. What happened with your Internet connection??

Those colours just scream hot summer days, which is weird, because here I am freezing my butt off in mid winter!! Hope your internet starts to play nicely, there is nothing more frustrating than waiting for connections and pages to load.

Love the feathers!!!

Thanks for your comment on my blog. Hope you had a happy summer solstice! Alas, it was raining here, so we didn't see much of the sun. C'est la vie! :)

Your little quilt is fabulous and just shouts "SUMMER"... beautiful colors. LOVE the feathers and buttons. You have quite an eye for composition. (as if we didn't know that already)
