Tea on Tuesday:the only thing I can do

In case you wonder where I've been, and why I didn't post my homework assignment on Sunday, it's because my computer is no longer functioning.   That means I can't access it, I can't remove photos from my camera to PS, and I can't print anything from my printer.  Besides missing Sunday's lesson, which I will HOPEFULLY post next Sunday,

I had an entire tea post planned.  I had the tea, I had the ingredients, I had most of the photos.  I had been working on this for WEEKS (at least two weeks).  I had to buy some ingredients, and grind others.  I had made Chai from a recipe I found on the internet.  I even took the time to convert measurements.  Then two things happened and all was lost.

First, I copied the recipe to my blog.  What could be safer, right?  Then I tried to access it this morning at my neighbor Sally's and when I did I hit something on her keyboard and the entire post went away.  Weeks of planning all the steps this Chai post would entail, weeks of working on it as time permitted, time spent running down hard-to-find ingredients, then it was gone in less than a heartbeat.  Gone even before I could hit the "close" button on Blogger.  Now all I can do is show you a stock photo of a cup of Chai, let you know I'll be offline until I can get my computer repaired (I'm taking it to the shop tomorrow), and assure you I'll find a way to show my homework assignment on Sunday.  Of course, that means I'll have to put the next lesson (Lesson 19) off for an extra week.

Thank you for understanding and have a SUPER TEA TUESDAY and the rest of the week.  At least the rest until I can get back online using my own computer (and keyboard).

oh! so sorry dear...that you lost your post, but even worse that your computer is down! I am missing my on-line buddies and just catching up after all the wedding to-do. We survived the occasion and lived to tell the tale! It was beautiful. but would you believe, I forgot my camera. so no photos! Just glad the bride and groom are happy and we had a wonderful day. Take care dear, and hope you are back on-line soon!

OMG Elizabeth, you poor love, I know how lost I would feel without my laptop! I can imagine how frustrating it must be for you too. Fingers crossed they are able to fix it for you. I have to admit to getting a little worried about you as you had been quiet for a while, relieved to hear it's not due to you being poorly at all. 'See' you soon hopefully my lovely.
Huge hugs x x x x

How frustrating! You are plagued with computer issues. Maybe you just need to abandon some of your old standby programs as they are supported anymore and may be causing some of your issues.
I'll try to call you tomorrow...in all likelihood you won't see this before then but just in case...there is it. :)

Well as sorry as I am to hear your computer woes, you at least have a better reason for being away than I do! I've been too busy to make much of anything, much less photograph it!
I miss you and will look forward to your return ((((HUG))))
